Should I let my conscience take over?

While I was finishing WQ Someone WC'ed "Looking for 2 high lvl DD's to finish frost, will pay 1m each". So I whispered him, assuming the spots had already been taken but no, he invited me. So I helped the squad (they were already at the fire bird boss, I cant remember his name atm, lol) finish FCC. And the guy kept his word and payed me 1m.
Now I kind off feel like I ripped him off. 1m for 15 mins in FCC, lol.
Should I keep the money or send it back?

It's up to you. If you want to give him the money back because you feel 15 minutes of your time was not worth the one million he paid you, then give it him back and tell him that you appreciate his gesture anyway.
If you feel like it was apt payment and don't want to give it away, keep it.
Personally, when I help people, I do it free of charge. I feel happier for helping without asking for - or taking as this case would be - money, the thanks is easily enough for me.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
Keep it.
He did say he would give 1M, and he knew it'd only be 15 minutes or so.
If he really didn't want to pay, he wouldn't have.

If you're uncomfortable with that amount, mail him back half and keep the remainder ^^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]
What is this 'res' you speak of? b:cute0 -
Go with your gut. You're certainly not in the wrong either way (they offered to pay up front, and you completed the task you were paid to do), but if you feel it's too much and you're uncomfortable with it then send some back.0

Alright thanks I know what to do ^_^[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0

keep it, it was a deal struck, him actually follwing through is honorable, now be honorable and spend his money wisely. desperation results in idiocy, but lets us reap the benefits. whats there to feel guilty over.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

normally i'd say keep it, because as others have said, he offered up front...
but since you are having doubts about the "legit-ness" of it, i'd have to say give some back
you did spend some time to help tho, so keeping a portion of it would be fine b:pleasedI have officially "won the game"... Actually, I decided it was time to leave.

Here's the way I figure it. Obviously, willing to give not one, but TWO DDs a million coins each means this person has at least a little fluff in his wallet. You offered to help, thereby fulfilling your part of the bargain, which is to be a DD. He, in turn, paid a million coins. It's as simple as that. I'd keep the money, not because I'm greedy, but because that was the agreed upon terms. The time for changing said deal was before you accepted the money, not after.0

Go on another FCC with him.
That should make it fair.

From this, my thoughts are, you did everything right, and so did he. There were no wrong here.
On the other hand, i think he might have been an oracler! Killed the people in squade and they ran off! xD0 -
It is definitely one of those morale dilemma's kind of thing.
Like if you found one-thousand dollars on the side off the road, and are late on your car payment, or something else that isn't "really" needed. Do you give the money back, or use it for your own needs?
On one hand a lot of people would lie and just say it's "there's," however could you really live with yourself if you went and spent that cash on things you need? It is very possible that the person that lost it needs it even more then you.
I realize the situation you speak off, is a bit different, however I believe the same rough concept can be applied, do you really feel like what you did was worth 1 million coins in game?
In the end it really is up to you, obviously the guy... or gal who paid you, was more then willing to pay for it. It almost sounds like they were having trouble keeping people to stay throughout the whole run.Ah, Mistakes are so easily made. ~ laura resnick
What kind of message are you sending when you insult my intelligence? ~ Me ~ 5/29/2015 (Yes it is possible someone said this before just no idea who/where.)0 -
If you really can't sleep tight tonight because of it, you can share the 1m => 500k to each xD[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0
