    Seriously, the other forum layout was much more elaborate and creative than the new layout. The previous layout had patterns and designs in the banners that made it look much more professional and artistic than the new layout.

    I'm going to leave it up to you guys, you want this or that?

    Edit: Even the mods' eyes are having trouble with this new layout. : (

    Want to be normal like all the forums out there??

    Perhaps, because you want it to match the "Blue Rising Tide" background...
    You can be creative by making it dark,
    for example, black forum background and dark blue writing... would be cool..!
    It will match the background and avatar, still keeping the classy look...

    i like lighter backgrounds alot easier on the eyes looks like it still needs tweeked so i will withhold judgment til it is finished

    With all due respect to the work you must have put into trying out this new layout, it simply does not compare to the more professional and aesthetically pleasing design of the old forum.

    In addition to being more visually appealing, the dark ambiance of the old forum was a far better match for the nature of PWI.

    Without hesitation, my vote goes to changing the forum back to the way it was. If you really want to improve something, I will add to the list of things people have already suggested by recommending you update the search engine for the forum so that it might actually be useful.

    While I don't care too much about artsyness and pretty borders, the dark background was nicer on the eyes, as others have said.

    Pros:
    can see the "more" button for smilies now
    cooler avatar choosing page

    Cons:
    So hard to read. Really detracts from the posts themselves.

    I would not mind at all if the background was just changed to black again.

    Besides the fact I loved the old forum better, now when I go to PW's homepage, I'm not sure if it's for an mmo, a dragon computer wanting to take over the world, some story about Mark Twain or Crunchyroll.

    Well, I have made a personal decision here. Some of you will be happy I am sure.

    This new forum design is so epically a failure in color choice that it makes me question the intelligence and taste of the individual(s) that designed it, and the people who looked at it and said oh that looks good. They were complete idiots to think a poorly designed semi-generic looking forum is 'good taste'.

    Having white on shades of white is such a newbie design, you should fire your web designer for being an idiot. At the least, backing the forums with shades of blue/dark blue would have been a better choice, greens, or deep purples a more likely choice but white on white? Utter failure.

    So my decision is simple. I refuse to post here anymore until this horrendous piece of offal you have foisted off on us gets changed to something worthy of being called a proper forum.

    Your web design team is a bunch of serious and major idiots that need to go back to art school and learn what 'Taste' is. because it is obvious to me and everyone else, that they don't have any.

    Oh and before I go... Everyone spam rainbow! It's easier to read and with the black background was where we couldn't put rainbow. It's white now. So talk skittles for a long time and the only way to make us stop is putting the old layout back. Go Peeps! GO!
