Unable to Proceed with Update..Help please

So i have the client for PW up and running and its telling me the client is running but its unable to patch,now i was on the game earlier so i know it worked before so im not sure what is going on. Also on the right hand side of the client i see all the servers blinking,from straight black to having a bright white outline. Can anyone help me please i really like this game i dont wanna have to quit.

    Go to your task manager (ctrl+alt+del), and end elementclient.exe and pwprotector.exe under Processes.

    If you don't see them or that doesn't work, restart your computer.
