Tough Skill - Cooldown

Quick question. How do you know when the skill "Tough" is in cooldown mode ? The reason why I ask, I know you can estimate, but the skill does not grey out, with a line clock timer the way other pet skills. Thus, it will always highlight when you right click on it, and appear to be "Active".

Mine has a perfectly working timer as well. Skill lasts 15 sec with a 60 sec cooldown.
