Dude, it's considered standard for venos to replenish their mp this way if a cleric uses Regeneration Aura.

Not disagreeing or arguing - my poor little veno is only 65 so she apparently hasn't reached a point where spam healing/attacking on a boss will wipe her mp past nature's breath and maybe a MP pot or two - worst case scenario using one transfusion. None of that really benefits from a BB in the long run - only reason I asked.

On a cleric note - you wouldn't be able to pay me to use the method you described if a veno was tanking . . . but that's just me.

Thanks for the sig Ophida :3

Yeah, it usually takes a couple of good thumps to the head to teach clerics not to panic when I transfuse.

Worst is I've even had one stop IHBing the barb to panic repeat cast it on me! That was a bad moment. I think that has to be my 'humorous moment' too, since I *think* that was the run where guarnob ran round and round the lake trying to get close enough to AOE (and succeeding a couple of times, eventually) rather than giving up and going home like any sensible boss.

Anyway - yes, whilst bubble is up, transfuse is a great way to just gain a whole bunch of mana, at the cost of (up to) a spark. Time it wrong and the AOE hits between the transfuse and the BB tick and bad things happen, so only do it right after an AOE lands.

Edit: The way a veno runs out of mana is the 79 myriad rainbow skill. Never was a problem until I got those, HUGE problem now.
It's 800 mana per shot, and you get TWO of it. That's, what, a third of my mana pool?
