hmmm which one archer or blademaster?

i wana know i'm just startin and i wana know which ones are better at lvling,combat,and endgame blademaster or archer these are the only 2 classes that interest me atm plz and tyb:laugh

    depends on what you prefer; bms are close combat with higher physical resistance and hp if you do your points right. however, they have low mp and are really slow. archers are ranged combat with high accuracy and evasion. the downside is that their attack goes WAY down in close combat, have low hp/mp depending on attack combos. i've played as both, and i prefer an archer.

    I prefer Archer, because I always play ranged classes... I can't stand melee. So, it depends on your playstyle. BM and Archer are both fast lvlers and are strong, especially at higher levels. b:victory Life powders will help you at lower lvls.

    Aye, its up to you. As Phel said, BMs are close range fighters. They wear heavy armor, and can act as back up tanks, should the main tank die. They are also pretty good at dealing with groups of mobs at the same time. They do have high physcal defence, but lack magic def. They arent the fastest class, but they arent the slowest, either. They also have the widest array of weapons to chose from, using axes/hammers, swords/blades, spears/poleblades/clubs, and fists/claws. Each weapon group has its own strengths and weaknesses, which are better detailed in the BM section of the forum.

    Archers, on the other hand, are ranged fighters, hence the name. They do have rather high dmg and a high critical hit rate, but the downside of that is the fact that they are quite fragile due to using Light Armor. They do have the highest base speed. Archers use bows, crossbows, and slingshots, but the basic play style is the same, regardless of the weapon.

    BMs, especially axe BMs, level very fast, especially after level 60, due to the large number of quick casting Area of Effect atks they possess. Im not very familiar with Archers beyond the low 30s.

    As for endgame, both are supposed to be rather nice, and both are needed in TWs.

    In short, like everyone else has said, its up to your own personal preference.
