Your awareness level is your ability to see assassins when they stealth. Normally, your awareness level is equal to your level. However, sins have a skill that raises their awareness level, and I believe there are some pots that do as well.

You can see a stealthed assassin if your awareness level is higher than their stealth level. With a high level assassin, the passive stealth skill will be maxed (+10 stealth levels), plus a maxed stealth skill (+10 stealth levels).

Edit: my bad on the numbers. The passive skill gives you +20 when maxed.

your awarness lvl is your lvl of being able to see stealth sins. you awarness lvl is equal to your lvl + your awarness skill. at max the skill gives you plus 30. so if you were lvl 50 youre awarness lvl would be 80.

to counter that is the stealth lvl. which is equal to the lvl of stealth you use (either shadow walk or shadow escape) + the cat like tread skill give you 2 per lvl. so having them all maxed would give you +30 levels of stealth. so if you were lvl 50 you could stealth to a lvl 80 mob or player as long as that player is not a sin. (im not sure if its right on the number it might be lvl 79)

actuaally maxed awareness is only +20 with maxed Sharp Observer...so if ut lvl 50 u can up to lvl 70...

while with Maxed Cad-Like Tread u can get +20 stealth and with Max Stealth skill u get +10 so if ur lvl 50 u can hide from people up to lvl 80...

Kinda wierd if u ask me that even with a maxed skill sins can hide from ne one once u get to a certain lvl...i think its 75?..cuz no one is lvl 105..meh oh well Sin FTW b:laugh

they changed that in one of the updates. and stealth pots do exist

oh my bad im sorry i havent taken my time to "max it out" so now im a noob.. even tho there are websites that showed it at +20 at max.. now as RADD said an update changed it.. my bad for not playing in awhile..and doing something outside of PWI.. now calm down b4 u started throwin "NOOB" out there like u know everything and never made a mistake b4

on an additional note: Awareness level of EQUAL to stealth level will show the stealther too.

IE that theoretical 50 sin with +30 stealth level will still be seen by a level 80, but not a 79

I always thought each stealth skill gave you +10 and cat tread gave you +20 when maxed, or do i need to go read my skill descriptions again?

so 10+10+20=40

the first 2 shadow walk and shadow escape each give you ten yes. but only when you use that one. for example. if your cat like tread was maxed and your shadow walk was maxed but your shadow ESCAPE was only lvl 5 then when you used the skill shadow walk your steal lvl would be the level of shadow walk (10) pluss the lvl of cat like tread x 2 (20) bringing it to 30. then if you attacked someone and used shadow escape to get away it would be shadow escapes lvl (5) plus cat like tread x 2 (20) bringing it to 25 over youre head

so what your saying is if my sin is lvl 40 and has lvl 5 stealth (i dont know when u get lvl 5, so just work with me) he could see sins lvl 45 if they dont have a higher stealth lvl? then with cat like tread lvl 1 which adds 2 more awarness points he could see lvl 47 sins if they didnt have a higher stealth lvl? excuse me if im confusing b:surrender

YOUR stealth lvl doesnt affect your awareness lvl...sharp observer passive skill raises ur awareness lvl...i believe awareness is equal to ur lvl + bonus from sharp observer

correct. also of note: stealth detection pots grant 30 awareness levels not 20 as the description says.

Stealth level:

Your level + level of stealth skills used (Shadow Walk or Shadow Escape. Both are different) + Cat-Like Tread

Awareness Level:

Your level + Sharp Observer + Stealth detection pot

If Awareness level ≥ Stealth level, you will see your target

IE: a 67 sin with 6 Cat-like Tread and 9 Shadow Walk has a total of 88 stealth levels

A level 87 Archer will NOT see him
A level 88 BM WILL see him
A level 76 Sin with 4 levels of Sharp Observer WILL see him
A level 81 Sin with 2 levels of Sharp Observer will NOT see him

So at what lv should I have both shadows skills, cat like threat and sharp observer to hide from mobs or players 5 lvs above me?
