Also im HA with a kind of good damage b:cool so I need more damage than buffs. I want good debuffs and nice dps. I have heard that demon is very much pvp but sage is more balanced both pvp and pve. So whats is good?

i would recommend demon for you because of your lack of m.atk.

-venomous would lower wood resist by 30% increasing your damage
-ironwood reducing def by 100% would help your pet to give an overall boost
-fox wallop is nice if you ever melee sometimes, seeing as fox has str for it
-the lower cooldowns could also help you with DD.

sage has some benefitting effects like a 200% melee mastery increase, or 150% fox def boost... normally id say TAKE EM, but i like demon more on the lesser m.atk buillds

refer to my arcane robe guide, as it has all the skills effects, or ecatomb.net for the same thing.

Going sage is like drunken sex, at first she may look good, but when you wake up the next morning; you'll look at her and go WHAT HAVE I DONE.

Heavy veno eh well fox form gives 150% phys def, more damage and chi out the ****. Demon gives killer crit rates, reduced cooldowns and debuffs.

I would go sage if I were you since wood mastery increases damage and skills gives chi for more sparks.

If you were to go Demon you would need to build to make use of your extra crit rate. But the demon fox form increases speed by 60% when you change to and from it.

Sooo in essence its a hard choice and unless you give more information not something that can be made for you.

myriad reduce pdef by 100%, demon ironwood reduce pdef to zero but that is only 20% chance

i would say that demon has more interesting fox skills and you dont need sage advantages such as increase pded (you are already heavy) or increase accuracy (200% or 250% is still low accuracy as heavy)

i think the skill is incorrect and actually does a 100% break. try it on an increased def monster, youll notice that a phoenix more damage on normal mobs than increased def.

now, increased def has a 200% damage increase, should ironwood go off, they still retain that 200% bonus, and lose their original def according to testing we did on the archer forum.

i did 3x more damage on a normal mob via a punch when compared to a inc def.

    idk it confuses me.

When the random curse effect hits, either if its reducing its phys or magic def to 0. It's extremely nice on TT bosses when the effects come on. Stack this effect with amplify damage, deep poison, tangling mire, heaven's flame, etc, you'll see ppl hitting 20k-30k crits, or maybe even normal hits. As for demon or sage. I'll be going demon when I hit 89 even though ill be HA/AA build at 90. My main reasons for doing so is, foxform (combine this with summer sprint, and theres no need for holy path) Summer sprint, (immunity to movement impairing effects, Haha... you cant stun me now :P) Stunning blow (50% chance to stun enemy for 3 secs. now you have have 2 stuns, and not just lucky scarab.) Crush vigor (50% chance to gain 1 spark) Bramble guard (return 75% of mellee damage) Metabolic boost and natures grace (the reduced cooldown to 90 secs will make it alot easier grinding, etc.) Parasitic Nova (Chaotic enemies take 30% more damage. This will be like having an extra amplify damage.) Fox wallop (20% chance to make all hits critical for the next 5 secs) Amplify damage (lasts longer.) Lending hand (May give 2 sparks to tank, as opposed to just 1) Venomous Scarab (reduces wood defense by 30% for 6 secs) Ironwood(20% chance to reduce defense to 0) And theres a few other skills like Noxious gas, lucky scarab, and consume spirit where i think the reduced cooldown would be nice.

Sage is not the "ultimate win". They are both very good and can be both "ultimate win" depending on the player's playstyle.

its just an idiot poorly wording a quote from an extremely old thread that has nothing to do with this topic. its called being a fail troll.

in this case i recommended what i thought would be best for the OP.

My preference is sage as you get more consistant damage skill wise over demon. As with the mention of demon ironwood. You ONLY get the 100% armor break IF it hits and that has a 20% chance of hitting. my fox form skills go through chi fast, I like being able to regain it fast as a sage veno.

The best thing is to look at how you play, look at the the skill bonuses and then how those fit with your play style. When I was trying to debate which way to go a 10X veno told me to think about how I fight and answer the following question: Do I stand and fight till the end (ie their death or mine), or do I kite (hit and run and repeat)?

And based on that and my play style (and skill bonuses) I went with sage and have never regretted it.

I think ..........I think I would pay to see that.......

I dunno if your thinkin fox form veno sage is better cause it has the 200% damage instead of the crit rate. Sage foxes hit more often then the demons would because they have a couple skills that hit 100% of the time.
