well i was part of empire and it was fun as hell however i can say from my exp in infamy that yeah they are pretty stable almost 0 drama in the fac and i like that0

I dont' think any faction can claim to "not have drama", I think that every faction has drama in it no matter what. So the amount of drama never really sets apart a faction, I think what sets apart a faction is how they deal with it instead.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]

Just uploaded so some inexperienced barbs can get a grasp of gamma. Me Esuana, Nightrage, Charisma, and 2x nonfactor wizards b:cute Yobroski quitting very sad. A protip for gamma i learned like the last run i did... if you get right under the final boss then he turns around steps back and turns back around. Good for pushing him around where you want him to be, or buying yourself time to not be attacked.

Exactly, no doubt there will be newer factions to rival Infamy at some point. But honestly I've been in Aurora for a long long time, then I finally decided enough was enough and applied for Infamy.
No one ever said Infamy was drama-free, but it sure as hell is a world of difference compared to the above-mentioned factions.
That said; ppl will always hate on *any* faction, Infamy is no exception."Anger is my shield."

Actually, not true. When a few of us were doing this huge red eyeball boss which because I have such a bad memory, can't remember the name of it, a member of a guild that I will not name started to swear at us and say things that were obviously not true. I'll post screenshots later if you guys want, I'll have to go through 1-2 computers to find them >.<
And people have said whispers to me about how awful Infamy is and that, because I am in Infamy myself, I'm a total failure. I've been excluded from BHs because I am in Infamy which like, makes no sense at all >.<
People also have this weird idea that all of us are cash-shoppers and that we waste our entire life on this game. This is totally not true obviously. Like seriously, for me I spend most of my money on donations to organizations and charities, and I put only $10-60 into the game a month. What do I do with all that money? Heres one link to a single post from the a thread in the Harshland subforums :P
Additionally, I would like to say this. Joining this server on day one, I've seen the server's ups and downs in things like the market, guilds, etc. If you guys remembers, Infamy was not originally the best guild on this server. The top guilds in alphabetical order were Aurora, Empire, Infamy and Insight. Other guilds were close but not enough.
In my opinion of course, I was betting that Insight was the best and that it would be the most major threat. Obviously not due to some issues in their guild. But some stuff happened and Empire went down. Next thing you know, Aurora and Insight went down or at least part way. What happens next? Infamy is the last one standing, therefore making it "the best" guild in the server.
I bet that if none of the drama and stuff happened in the other guilds, Infamy would not be the best guild or be tied with another guild. But thats not reality and we are currently the best. How to make a faction that doesn't suck.
1. Set standards. Let people know what's up. I'm a strong believer in a person's ability to be good. Just because they act like a jackass somewhere else, doesn't mean they can't behave. That was just acceptable for them in their faction. Maybe they can conform to rules.
2. It's ok to have empty spots. Ever since we upgraded to level 3 (first on the server) we've never had more than 190, and it took us until recently to get there.
3. Levels are worthless. I don't mean recruit anyone or don't have requirements, I mean don't take someone based solely off their level. If you're being an obvious jackass, I don't care what your level or class is. RIP Tophole.
4. Don't be stingy on the kick button. GSnipes being an intolerable bigot making the **** people feel uncomfortable? Bye, have a nice time in Insight. Not keeping up with levels, as you agreed? Bye bye Vent owner, we'll get a new one.
5. "Everyone come to OT! There are people to PK!" No. Pk factions fail, always. Go level, stop wasting time and money. If you want to PK, that's your business. You dropped something? Don't plan on getting me riled up, that's your own fault.
6. "We r the strongst on tha server plz be my Tw allience buddy plz frnds pls." Lol, no thanks Insight, Empire, Aurora, and Exodus. you should be worrying about how long you have left on the map.
7. That faction pisses me off, let's go attack them. No thanks, I'd rather strategically surround a city and make it more secure before taking it.
8. All in all, just being cold and ruthless wins out sometimes. It earns respect to a degree and I can still have a good laugh in Vent, even at my own expense.
9. Recruit people that can speak English. Once again, I don't care what level you are or how good you were in Brazilian PW, if you can't communicate effectively, get out.
10. Wait until the faction is well established to promote officers. It prevents bad things from happening, such as making Olee marshal. (Kidding, he wouldn't even be let in faction. Lol!)0 -

Not sure about Andronikos, but I sure as hell have. When I'm running Gammas with people and all they talk about is how much their faction sucks, I make it a habit to throw the URL into squad chat.
That's why I'm not paranoid about bribes. Make a faction that doesn't suck, as seen above, and you don't care if the odd person leaves. Convince them to leave, I don't care. But you're sure going to have to try really hard to make someone leave Infamy.0 -

Ure a LIAR, u invited me to Infamy first day of server when u was radom inviting every1 ,we even did speak about it. and u dont know the **** I made for Insight so shut the fack up.TBH I would never join a faction with a leader that got banned because of FAKE BIDS, and then he comes and says he doesnt belive in allies and so on, well **** it, I rather have my own allies than FAKE BID, at least allies arent agaisnt the rules.

I was looking at the top 50 list, 30 are in INfamy, 8 are in QQme, 12 are everything else, including factionless. Yes these are some good tips. I would add a few more cept they would probably be too controversial.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
