a couple bm questions

okay i've been reading up on the classical bm's.

so far what ive read (mostly during updates lol) makes me PROUD 2 be a bm 99% of the time.

heres a few of my questions i would like to ask.

1. due 2 me going to do ALL 4 paths at like 90s (yes at 90 or higher) should i go demon or sage? x_x (hard desicion for myself right now).

2. i notice at mid of like 70s i slow down on lvling and the beginning i lvl fast, is this usual? (prolly stupid to ask).

3. when a bm does fist weapons, should he have like a back up armor set of la and his standard ha set?

4. i herd max hp for a bm is like 25k and a barb 30k, is this true in a way?

sorry for the weird questions, but im just really curious and love to know this type of info.

2. level 70 is where your EXP per level gets A LOT higher, you'll continue to level a bit slower now.
3. No, You do not need LA. But using any armor with -attack (if its light armor or not) is suggested for fists, just be aware that if you're not using HA your losing Phys def.
4. Realistically With barb buffs, a BM can get 10k-15k HP, while a barb can get 15k-25k.

yes dont worry about it when you hit 80 FCC will speed yu right back up

fist BMs tend to use HA main LA boots and wrists at 99 for the ashura sets - interval.that setup is quite good for the maq def before that but never use LA mains

bm's normally have 8-10k unbuffed at endgame if they use resonable endgame refines and shards (wich are hella pricy)

1) Demon. I've never heard a demon bm regret their choice, however servers are full of sage bms who regret their decision.

2) 75-80 and 85-90 were the two toughest stretches to leveling, but BH has pretty much eliminated this.

3) Don't even worry about 90 gold. You'll lose the =int... and if you just gotta have it, go for it. Just wait for 99 heavy 2 set bonus, it gives a total of -1.5 int.

4) A BM with 25k HP? Not on any official server unless you spend $30-40k USD.

2. for lvl'ing its fast enough now with 3 BH's and Tiborn (all class) quests.

3. you ONLY use 2 pieces of LA at times(and those are TT-99 Gold cause set gives you -0,05 ITH) as said and maybe b4 that some LA wrist guards that give ITH

4. Ehh maybe some BM with Vit barb build pulls that of..anyway don't overdo your Vit even if you plan PvP

Beyond lvl 89, if you have skills maxed, you can buy special skill books that drop from bosses in instances starting from fb89. Depending on if you went demon (demon books have empty circle next to the name) or sage (filled circle), you can use them to learn the demon/sage version of maxed skills (lvl 10), which you can check at the site Michael_dark posted, given you meet the required level.
On the topic note, most BMs go Demon simply for the demon spark (25% attack rate increase is awesome) and longer duration of HF.

I can personally vouch for Demon.


Demon BM gives you more stuns than sage, Demon spark is very useful, and it just has, in my opinion, better stuns and ultimates (the essentials for a BM). Especially now with so many different ways to get Chi (pots, enhanced chi gain, genies), I'd be much more inclined to use Demon HF, Demon Glacial Spike and Demon Myriad Sword Stance than Sage versions by far (I actually know a BM who has it all on one hot-bar, so when he has full chi it can just explode on someone).

While some things in Sage are better (like shadowless Kick and the alters), I vouch for Demon.

Oh, and i forgot. Demon Drake sweep itself can give you a spark or two if you're using it to AoE. And roar of the pride (100% success rate).

Sage does have an amazing Aeolian Blade and the masteries and aura are really nicer, but with endgame leaning towards fists, Demon is definitely something you should consider if you're thinking to pick sage just for it's benefits.

If you're using all 4 weapons go demon. Fists are very very powerful endgame and the extra stun/attack speed that demon gives is more useful when PvPing with fists.

Try to aim for 7k+ hp unbuffed at 9x, depending on the amount of money and your build you could be anywhere from 7-9k hp unbuffed, higher if you have insane amounts of money.
