What do people want?

Hello,

I'm thinking about creating my own faction, and I'd like to ask people a few questions. Consider the fact that I'm on a PvP-server for a reason.

1) What do you want the most out of a faction ?

2) For a PvP/TW-aiming faction, what do you think matters the most ?

3) To all leaders out there, how did you make your faction ? How did you gather the people you wanted ?

4) What is, in your opinion, the best way to recruit efficiently ?

5) Do you know any "place" (preferrably in Lost City server) where people might be searching for a faction, or would at least be interested into being a part of one ? (what I'm talking about here is just like the center of Archosaur being the BH-squad-search go to place)

Finally, I believe part of the answers to those questions can be found in plausible friendship bounds. What would be the best way to make new friends of your level ? Being supa-friendly during BHs ? Offering help in WC ?

Give me your opinions please.

    Hello,

I'm thinking about creating my own faction, and I'd like to ask people a few questions. Consider the fact that I'm on a PvP-server for a reason.

    1) What do you want the most out of a faction ? People who you can trust and feel like you belong, people who you know will be there for you even if things go wrong, in-game or real life.

    2) For a PvP/TW-aiming faction, what do you think matters the most ?
Stay headstrong, ignore people who say you guys are awful and stuff. Also, good organization skills and an excellent TW plan is definitely required to have a good TW or PW guild. Oh, PvP? Umm, try to errrr, no comment on PvP.

    3) To all leaders out there, how did you make your faction ? How did you gather the people you wanted ? Well, it happened because of a ton of factors going on in that moment. In Harshlands, I was in this guild called DragonKin, a more friendly guild and stuff. But some leadership changes and drama happened, and all the main-core members including me, left. Because I wanted a ton of us to stay together, with some friends I created Fairytale, a guild for people to feel like they belong and stuff. A ton of friends supported me on this so yeah...

    4) What is, in your opinion, the best way to recruit efficiently ? If recruiting by WC, keep the language down and don't use suggestive language. Keep it clean, add in smilies for a sure, and add in humor if possible. Other ways is to keep up with a good reputation and have connections with other people. Oh and don't do merges, that'll take away a ton of respect in my opinion of course.

    5) Do you know any "place" (preferrably in Lost City server) where people might be searching for a faction, or would at least be interested into being a part of one ? (what I'm talking about here is just like the center of Archosaur being the BH-squad-search go to place) For recruitment in the lower levels, go to the newbie areas obviously. But I have to say, try recruiting in a more upper place such as Archosaur because recruitment in lower level areas for say in an example, level 30+ recruitment in a beginner spot will cause uncertainty in the members levels...

Finally, I believe part of the answers to those questions can be found in plausible friendship bounds. What would be the best way to make new friends of your level ? Being supa-friendly during BHs ? Offering help in WC ? Be yourself, as long as your being a "friend" and yeah... Errrr, its just.. Be friendly? Try to stick true to yourself and do help people in FB/BH/TT, etc. At the idea of offering help in WC, it can have its good and bad points. Good because people want to join a guild that helps their members but bad if too many people are asking for help and there are not enough people to supply that demand.

    Give me your opinions please.

Anyways, good luck with your guild b:chuckle

Oh and last thing, if I had to quit my guild in Raging Tide which of course I wouldn't unless for some reason I get kicked or whatever reason, I'd find a new guild that was honest, respectful to members, no drama, people who know what their doing, and oh a great reputation! b:cute
