Chipao on Clerics

I'm sorry if there's another thread about this, but I couldn't find it, and I was just curious if anyone else noticed this.

If you look at a cleric wearing a chipao from the side it looks really...odd. I don't remember it being like this it was more, tucked in. Either was I really don't like the new look, I think it's very un-natural.

Is this happening for other characters as well?

    It's a means to make Clerics more aerodynamic, so as to improve their meager foot speed and quell their frustrations about being one of the slowest classes.

    Sadly, it's not helping as well as they'd hoped. b:sad

    I noticed it did that on TB as well, well at least psy. And it never did that on clerics before b:sad

    Its not just clerics. They modified the Chipao model recently so it doesnt look like the front & back are pinned to the legs. Unfortunately it makes it hang very unnaturally (doesnt seem to obey gravity) on anyone and i disapprove of the change.

    Shows up the same way on my archer. I'm not sure if it's just a quirk of the AH preview, or if it actually defies gravity like that when you wear it.

    Not just Chipao, but several ankle length dresses seem to have similar odd angles in the front and back that make them look a bit off.

    It's definitely distinct in the Chipao more than others though, due to the slits in the side of the dress.

    I love the new chipao look xD The outfit looks so much better on my cleric than it did with the bottom pinned down.

    This is really sad it was one of my favorite dresses, and I've been hunting for an affordable red one... but now... its so not perfect anymore b:sad

    I cried when I spent 2mil on one and it just didn't look right..... My husband likes it (obviously he can see my legs b:sin) so I don't really complain about it.

    I'm just really glad I dragged my feet buying the Chipao, I'd be pretty upset if I saw this released after my perfectly fine dress had been "fixed".
    Of course now I'll buy the new one with the flower to match... and yes... I'm getting ALL the head fashion this week. Except... that vampire hat is a little be like "huh"? Is that supposed to be fetching?

    Well to be honest the eastern dress does the same thing the chipao does at the leg, but its a bit less noticable. I'm a fashion fanatic so I see the flaw, and hate it very much.

    It's like pwi designed these outfits to look crappy on clerics cuz of how they stand. It's not fair. Venos look good in everything, imo. b:surrender

    What always annoyed me was the fact that when Venos wear Seaspray Slacks, they don't get the silly loincloth-flappy-thing. Of course, now that there's more than just that one pair of pants available, it's not such a huge deal.

    Now to figure out how to get my hands on the Lightning/Thunder coat...

    Omg seriously, I'm convinced they use Venomancers as their model and leave the other classes to deal. Psychics and Assassin wear everything pretty well too though :D

    the hat reminds me of a 1930's-1950's bellhop type of hat.

    Nothing looked good on my cleric x.x Ended up pairing tons of things with the leather pants =< best thing I could come up with.

    I ended up being able to find something today for my cleric thanks to the new fashion. But still the fact that NONE of the dresses looks good on a cleric is disheartening.

    I don't think venos look good in everything. In fact i don't like my veno in many of the clothes. I think the best pose for fashion among females has the archer. I've never seen a female archer look bad in any cloth.
    Still have no opinion on tideborn but their looks are generaly more refined than the old races.
    But i prefer the chipao being reverted to the old version...i wanted to get one for my wiz but when i saw how it "defines gravity" i had to give up.
