TT80 gold spear worth getting?

I am a spear/axe blademaster, and I don't really know what weapon to get after I hit 80. I checked that Lunar poleblade would be cool, but it costs way too much. The mold spear at 78, Massive Champion (http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/8276), is also cool but I've been thinking on getting the TT80 gold (http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/14859) or (http://www.pwdatabase.com/pwi/items/14843). Is it worth it? And how much it would cost?
100% F2P player. Started PW: March 2007, Quit PW: March 2011.

    70>backstab peircer

    80>dragonlance

    90>shaterstar

    99>purge spear

    and get dance of the universe at 95

    spears get a inceridibly easy weapon progression and nice adds at tt

    get a DPS weapon you will want it at higher levels
    Gifs are hard to make work here

    this 100%, i found a massive champion 2 soc 2 g7 +3 for 700k so im using that as my spear atm

    Shh don't tell them about purge spear XD. I just got it a couple days ago, it's really useful. Nobody expects a bm to purge them, and all the squishy classes without buffs are... well... squishy :P. I wonder how much time it takes before it becomes a standard wep and other classes know what to expect though...

    probably a long **** time. fists are so obviously overpowered endgame and i see more and more +10 gx's...

    debuff spear isn't as obvious as fists so... not before 2012 ;/x

    It's even more beneficial when you cyclone heel -> switch to spear and wack. You hit fast as hell with the spear still so your chance of the debuff to proc are high b:dirty

    That's totally something I plan to do in the near future, just run around and debuff the **** out of people in TW.
