you are so right, but, with the way things work both here and in other games, nothing is likely to be done about it. your ticket will get you a nice 'we're looking into it' answer, but nothing will be changed. why?
a. KSing isnt considered an offense against the TOS, even if it goes to the degree of being griefing. the best way to handle is, unfortunately, to either move to another area with the same mobs, or, switch to playing an alt for a while, till the people bothering you have moved on.
b.yes, there are zillions of people playing who are pains in the patookie. but there isnt a thing that can or will be done about it, even with ticketing. i havent heard of anyone getting a problem solved, to be frank, and i've played for well over a year here. i dont know what it is that would get their attention...i've seen a lot of serious infractions against the TOS, documented them with screen shots, etc, but never seen the perps banned. when the game opened, people got banned for foul language....now? anything goes. good manners and good sportmanship dont exist, except for a rare handful of players.

1. the Tideborn expansion.
2. the Raging Tide server.

In addition about 50% of the mentioned players that I tell how to play according to the rules of the game, they swear and laugh at me.
People that know me, know that i play fair and take this seriously as a game, not making more fuzz than is needed. I spend a big part of the game teaching players the rules instead of them doing so before starting to play.
I refuse to do 2 things:
1. change server.
2. leave the rule violations unattended.
I believe strongly that this problem is created by PWE and not the new gamers joining (those are most welcome here).
So the question has to be:
What will the GMs and PWE do to adress and fix the issue at hand?

I remember when i started playing last year(before tideborn were about)that there was a hell of a lot of KSing around the level 20-25s, all them quests around broken bow bluff were a huge KSing feast.
I found that it was veno's mostly that KS me (other class's tried but failed to KS) what did i do? I moved to another spawn spot.
As the OP is a veno im guessing this thread is a "veno spits the dummy" QQ thread coz theres a new class that she cant KS from........Suck it up cupcake like the rest of us have too.It is better to remain silent and be thought the fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.0 -

1 of the dumbest things i ever heard someone say....people count ksing as anything....even a little tap to a mob...stop wining about it and move on or just go do something else to they leave, or my favorite run away while killing mobs into more mobs so the dude dies ^^...also impossible to prove0 -
Ks can be a very easy fix if PWE actually want to bother with it.
for simple reason cause it has no profit.
solution: as the first person that tag and did damage to the mob.
tag the mob and grey it out. any player did damage to the target would receive no exp no spirit no chance on looot..
simple and easy and there will be never be any ks cause there is nothing to benefit from it.0 -

it brought loads of noobs, with cash to level up in 24 HOURS to make it one of the worst servers very quickly. KSing seem to divide the opinion and member base, that I understand. To cleaarify more (if possible) it's not the single act of KS but that you can't escape it. I can't go to a different area and avoid the issue on this server as I can on all the other servers. To have a stalker follow me around KSing me, would be a nice vacation compared to the situation at hand. And that is clearly stated from GM to be bannable. It's the constant wave of KSers and it goes from morning till evening every single day, all over (believe me I have tried to relocate).
Secondly. It is interesting to see people who fail to see the issue, instead tries to ridicule this thread by calling me a whiner, a new player with little or no experience with MMOs. Man, how hard you fail in that area. To let some QQers here get to know me a tad better, here goes:

I have finished one of the 3 biggest MMOs in the world (how many here can say they have finished an MMO?)

How could they take the time to respond when they are getting ganked?
Then of course, when someone doesnt help them because they were waiting for a response, they get killed and make a thread about it on the forums.
And do you report someone for EVERY SINGLE KS out there? Because that is not bannable. A few KSs when you are questing because there arent enough spawns, or something. Which is exactly why its the Raging Tide server. Its a new server, so lots of new players=more KSing in West arch outskirts/North arch outskirts etc.

Have to agree with OP on this one, the expansion defenitly change PW to a different mood and the players changed with it. Hope they reroll and remove the tideborn race.0 -

It is interesting to see players from other servers stating this aint a problem. I dodnt either when i played the other servers. However on Raging Tide the problem is so big normal KSing has become harrasment. Therefore it is bannable indeed. I do completely agree that onother severs it's not woth mentioning, so stop ridicule e real issue, and this is definitly a real issue for the GMs. The company has been informed but its the GMs that see this everyday on the server.

There is indeed balance issues TB does to squad based endeavors, and this needs to be addressed. However, KSing has been around forever, so blaming a race for KSing is indeed quite fail and turns your essay into merely a long and useless rant.0 -
