Trying to decide on a new pet...

...one that is cute and has balanced defense/attack and can keep aggro well. (im getting tired of my 'ol mag and I want another pet I can use when i dont want to look at his rocky face! hehe)

any ideas? I'm level 60, was thinking about getting Kowlin but read that he is a poor tank.

    Shadau cub - good defence, terrible attack.
    Kowlin - awesome attack, poor defence.
    Wolves (perhaps the lunar lupin?) - moderate attack, low defence.
    Eldergolth - Surprisingly good magic defence, decent attack. Looks like a big ugly grunting monkey.
    Cats (the grimalk?) - more attack than wolves, even less defence.


    Basically, after the rocks there's a real big drop off in defence/HP. The cub's probably your best bet for cute - but you'll notice the lack of attack.

    I forgot to mention the beetle and scorpion.

    Beetles have slightly less defence than shadau I think.
    Scorpions have decent defence and very high attack - but low hitpoints.

    Ok, since when do Eldergoths have better magic defense than type 4 wolves? Really, talk about skewed...

    They don't. I just said it was surprisingly good.

    My experience of the lunar lupin was that it died way too often, so I call it as low defence.
