    it actually amazes me that assassins are even good in this game bcuz in other things i've played...assassins aint ****. maybe its just bcuz its a new class and new classes always seem like pwnage

    I agree, we still really need our 79 skills, 'cuz as it stands we aren't really even on equal grounds with other classes at higher levels.

    Black Ice Dragon Strike (Wizard) totally **** Red Tide (Psychic).
    Wizards also get Blade Tempest, giving them a chance against arcane users, and Clerics have Plume Shot so they can fight against arcane users.
    Psychics get nothing that helps against arcane users and have to rely on a well-timed Soulburn.
    Tempest owns Red Tide as well.

    Assassins can jack their Chi up pretty well, but we still die easily, have a hard time with Barbarians and we have a huge cooldown on Headhunt (which is our OHKO move on arcane users and light armours).

    We need our new moves :(

    assassins already has "sage" with their ridiculous chi gain and stuff.
    also their "demon" skills be like their 40% crit damage increase + Crit chance increase already....

    no reasonable person can say assassins is not overpowered....
    Dagger Devotion: 60% extra dagger damage
    Power Dash: crit damage increased by 40%
    Chill of the Deep: increase attack level by 30...dont cry about the attack speed loss...they just going to demon spark or something and manage to kill off other classes within seconds anyway...

    1. You will not know, that assassin is there till he will attack you.
    2. When he attack you will be stunned and death faster than all his stuns will be over.

    My post was sarcasm.

    There are ways to cancel out stun, sleep and other debuffs.
    It is better to remain silent and be thought the fool then to open your mouth and remove all doubt.

    insane amounts of damage such as an archer has to hit something. archers can't hit assassins. uhh... that basically means overpowered. you get 2-3 hits on us before we can even fight back with your attack rate. next time you're in a duel, let us hit you 2-3 times, then you can fight back.

    Assassin: 100% invisible(immortal), Second life when you die, Teleport stun, 25% chance for MAGIC to miss, 50% chance for negative effects not to work, 2% vampire, instant chi recovery, 99% of your attacks have less than .5 channeling.

    Psy: ridiculous casting speed with very high damage, incredibly overpowered damage reduction and reflection skills(don't even try to argue this one, I was buffed with one of your skills and the boss was hitting me for 500 damage but it was reflecting 1,500 back to him. That's 300% reflection, obliterated veno), knock back interrupts channeling and sends back farther than archer knock back, incredible buffs giving a person everything including immoratality to physical and negative effects for 8 seconds.

    Now.... how... is this NOT overpowered? You just got every skill in the game that you could possibly use.

    Was talking about mag classes, so yeah fine be me if nerf sins .. but give mag attacks a chance to miss all seems fair in the balancing stakes .

    I can do the same on my Bm TBH, stun lock robes and kill them before they can fight back.. gotta love Demon fists ... but I suppose they will be OP next

    Maybe it will new for you, but magic attack can miss. It is called "interrupted". It happened quite offend. Especially in long channeling spells.

    And stun can miss .. its called apoch pots

    yeah but wizards have sleep spells and things to counter a bm. a natural skill. there is no natural skill to counter an assassin. that's why they're overpowered

    Our classes are nerfed. Tide Born isn't.

    It's not 300% reflection. Soul of Vengeance' reflection is determined purely by the psy's soul force and has nothing to do with how hard you're hit (unlike Bramble Guard.) You could have been being hit with 5000 and still have had 1500 reflected.

    What a load of bullcrap i read on these threads.

    Seems there are 2 factions discussing something completely pointless here.

    Either they say TB's are over powered, or they complain about being called overpowered. FACT is that loads of players just can't handle pvping against TB's.
    They're new, most of em don't know their limitations or ways to handle them, and face it, LOADS of toons, even high lvl ones, are just oracle or whatever noobies.

    I always seem to read about sins not being able to take out barbs. So should those sins complain about barbs being overpowered ? It's a simple logical reasoning that some classes are good against others and vice versa.

    I play a cleric too, and i know for a fact that i'm weaker against melees. So do i need to say they're overpowered ? Hell no, deal with it, change build, change gear or tactics and move on.

    You KNOW that some classes will dominate you. Like you will dominate some others. Learn to play a toon, whatever its class, and deal with the simple fact of the gaming world : there's always someone or some class stronger then yourself.

    I'm really tired of all the **** some people spew about other classes. If you don't like it, go play it for a change then. See what the other side looks like, but don't come whining about meaningless stuff, especially when you have NO say in the matter on how devs see the game.

    Now then, I don't really have any issue with Psychics. As far as I can tell, yes, they're powerful. But they can be countered. Maybe that's just because I'm an archer and usually snipe them before they really realize I'm there, but still.

    Assassins, however, are 100% invisible to anyone without access to Raging Tides Officer (99% of population) up to 30 levels above, and still invisible to people even with access to the officer up to 10 levels above. How is making 99% of players up to 30 levels higher than them unable to detect or attack them balanced?

    I don't mind that they one-shot squishy classes. Archers can do that too up to the 80s, and wizards can do it from 70ish on up, if they crit. I don't mind that they're capable of crippling an enemy if they get the first attack, seeing as they're assassins. You can see archers and wizards coming, and if nothing else you can run away, or at least try to fight back. You can't see an assassin coming, they can teleport right to you from outside your attack range and stun you at the same time, and on the off chance they start losing, they can go back into stealth. Then add in the ability to spark while in stealth, without losing stealth, and a 25% chance to dodge any attack. Kindly explain how that's balanced?
