Because gold sellers are nasty and only want money lol ( no offense) and the prices are still high even though there isnt any real sale, i say either limit the amout of money gold can be sold for and / or let perfect world sell gold in the Auction for Reasonable prices,

    I like that idea although the AH idea iznt that basically the same az the gold selling NPC? but either way good idea!

    there is a cap 1 mill per gold lol

    and even if the cap was reached do you think people would still sell for those prices lol the you could probally buy items from the cash shop directly from the gold sellers like a 1 gold item for like 1.1 mill coin just an example

    this is why a lower cap wont help only way to reduce prices is massively refusing to buy gold above a certain price
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    Besides people will ALWAYS buy gold no matter what price, so a massive not buy gold not will never come!

    I agree that gold should be much lower. Chest of Coins are completely pointless in the game right now. It takes 5 gold to buy a hammer making a hammer 2mil+. And you get 1mil for opening a chest. You lose 1mil+ everytime you open it.

    But... you're fighting against economy, not a problem in the matter of programming. You can program AH to have a cap, but that would just turn the whole economy upside-down.

    the problem is cash shop items seem to always be available in game for cheaper. Like me and my husband first bought our tideborn wings for 30.00 each so a total of 60.00. Now after we played a while we realised we could get things from players who sell them in game for cheaper than buying them in the cash shop. So last week we bought 40g to sell before the coral was out of the shop. Then we had 8.4 mil each he bought his veno the 30g mount for 5.9 mil, and I got phoenix embrace for 4.9 mil then found someone selling plat mp charm for 1.6 mil. I had a mil left over. If we had bought our mounts in the ccash shop it would have cost us 60.00 and we would have nothing left over. I wouldn't have got the mp charm. So when the gold price is higher than the ingame item value and you want to purchase something it is really better to sell your gold and find it in game. It saves you money. I wasn't trying to get rich off people I just wanted to get two mounts for our other toons with out paying 60.00. Also, Gold was selling for 434k on my server and it took me like an hour to sell 40g at that pice. People are buying it at that price and that is why it is so high. It is not just sitting there at a high price. If you were selling gold for the reason I explained you would put yours in where it was selling at not at 200k. You would want the most for your money.

    you mean you can sell 1 dollar (in real life) for 100-200k in-game coins? really?
    coins that may disapear b:shocked

    ppl won't sell 1 dollar for a think they can farm in 15 minutes (lvls85+) [i know they (in fact, i) did and i can't believe it]

    i think price is fair for this.
    Problem: CS items are too expensive, so if you want to get any item there you have to pay a lot of coins
    Solution: Low the CS items cost.

    I'm gonna play a game of Corrupt the Wish with this thread.

    Wish granted! Tomorrow, PWI announces that the new price cap on gold is 200k in the AH. Within an hour of the announcment, AH empties. There is not a single gold for sale in there. Instead, WC is spammed with "WTS 2 Gold PM me offers". People buy the items from the Boutique, and then sell them to players for the price of the gold.

    After gold cap changed to 200k no one selling gold in AH.
    Everyone selling outside AH.
    People later start selling 1 gold for more than 1 million after many event sale by pw.
    People start quit because very high prices.
    If no one else buying the gold people stop selling then quit pw ?
    No one buy gold pw shut down.

    Yeah as much as I would like lower prices on Gold, I think rights are more important. It's supposed to be a free market I'd rather our market not be limited further. If you have a problem with the prices, rally a bunch of people to ignore the Gold Trading. Enough people stop buying the price will go down.
