Stuck at Level 5 Tailor, Can't get to Level 6

Well I turned 80 and I got the messaging that I can get level 6 crafting skills. I am starting off with the Tailor skill and I was assigned to craft (3) 2* items. Well I got those and turned them in. Then I was told to craft 2 more 2* items and I got those and turned them in also.

So now I completed the tailor quest and I have a level 6 tailor skill book in my inventory. I noticed that my current level 5 skill is still 45/60 so I went to the tailor to try and manufacture level 5 gear and I am not getting any reps from doing this. I made 3 level 5 helmets and 2 level 5 arm armor, and I didn't get a single rep from any of these? What am I doing wrong?

Can whisper Dball in the game if you like, or I will check back here frequently.

    The only thing I can say is to submit a ticket. You should have gotten all the experience from crafting the items through the quest.

    Actually, I purchased all the 2* items for the quest from the Auctioneer. Figgured I would save some money. Either way, I am crafting level 5 gear and not getting any reps for it.

    Make sure that you're crafting gear that REQUIRES level 5 tailor, not actual level 5 items.

    I've made that mistake once

    I imagine you probably already figured this out, but for those who read this looking for an answer, here it is.

    you have already mastered the lvl 5 tailoring skills, take the level 6 skill book to any elder and pay 100K to get your level 6 skills. This allows you to start crafting items that require level 6 tailoring. The 45/60 should change as you manufactor level 6 items.
