What build is good?
Hi i found these
+ Barebones build. Minimum necessary stats for robes/weapon (not a build per se but you can do this to conserve your stats if you haven't made up your mind yet).
- 6 MAG
- 1 STR
- 3 free points
+ Highly offensive build. Very low survivability. High damage and healing power.
- 9 MAG
- 1 STR
+ Offensive build. Low survivability. High damage and healing power.
- 7-8 MAG
- 1 STR
- 1-2 VIT
+ Balanced build. Decent survivability. Mid-high damage and healing power.
- 6 MAG
- 1 STR
- 3 VIT
+ Light armor build. Geared towards using light armor. Balance of magic and physical defense. Superior critical rate. Minimal hitpoints but higher survivability when facing physical opponents. PvP versatility. Mid-high healing power, but higher overall damage due to an increased critical rate.
- 6 MAG
- 2 STR
- 2 DEX
I wanna ask high lvl clerics who is the best build and why?
What builld i should choose i want pve/pvp but not low dmg
Ahh....just say me maybe you tried one of this build TYb:victory

Well it all really just depends on your own feelings. Some people prefer survivability, and are willing to sacrifice damage dealt in the long run in order to raise their vit or wear heavier armor.
If you want to do the most damage possible then going 1 str and 9 mag every 2 lvls is the way to go, which is also the build that I am following now. I am able to solo quite well, being mainly on my own for the majority of the time. Finding arcane armors is usually pretty easy for me, because there's always a ton being sold.
Others swear that in order to solo you need to raise your vit, because the extra HP may or may not save your life in different situations. I find it to be more worthwhile to save my coins, and then begin to shard my gear with HP stones when I get to a higher lvl.
A light armor build could be nice, because it would definitely offer a much better chance at survivability. Tho to me this feels like such a waste of my stat points, because you have to raise str and dex to higher lvls. With this build a lot of players tend to do vit at the same time.
Personally, I enjoy dealing more dmg and being able to heal better as well. I am more of a DD than a Support Cleric, and full arcane build allows me to do what I enjoy the most. I enjoy being able to solo, and not having to depend on others to stay alive.0 -
i am currently level 51 and using the Light Armor build.( 3 mag/1str/1dex) Its great for an all around char that can grind phys mobs/elem mobs but isnt to great at either. Im more of a support cleric that can solo more than anything else.
With 3* gear + Buffs you will be looking at 50-60% Physical damage reduction and 50-60%+ elemental reduction depending on your belt/necklace. The only drawback of this build is the dangerously low HP. At 51 im currently at only 1.5k hp and by 60 with my new set ill be hopefully pushing 2k. You can get past this drawback by using gear with hp/vit/refines on it. Also, since your str is higher you can sub in an HP helm instead of a mp hat to boot.
Damage/heal wise will be another factor. Since your only doing 3 mag every level vs. 4-5 for other builds your mana pool will be a bit lower along with your mag damage and MP regen. Some people say its a large factor while others say its minor. I can see the higher mag builds being better since for bosses if your not attacking and just healing because your out of combat(unless boss uses AOEs). This means your making use of your FULL MP REGEN vs only 25% while in combat.
As a cleric, your best friend will be wood mobs. Mobs that use poison stacking attacks on you. Being a higher mag/vit build will make you better at these due to the higher elem resistances on arcane. I make due by using my paper armor (arcane robes) and subbing in my elem neck/belt instead of my phys neck/belt.
At end game(level 95+) it might be wiser to switch back to arcane due to LA not being fitting for a caster class. No mp/magic/-channeling. You would be good up to tt90 LA set but past that there really isnt much =/
Ive been debating switching at a higher level to a hybrid vit/mag build using arcane but i still dont know. Weighing in the factors of 1 vit = 10-15? hp vs 1 mag = alot of damage i cant decide if id go with a 9 mag/1 str build or a 6-7mag/1str/2-3 vit build.
RECAP:(stats based on 2 levels 2x5=10)
(all around build) "LA or Light Armor Build"
6 mag/2str/2dex = Medium magic/physical defense + medium damage
(purely offensive) "Pure Build"
9mag/1str = highest damage + no phys def + highest magic defense
(like the LA build except hp instead of phys def) "Hybrid Build"
6-7mag/1str/2-3vit = medium magic damage + medium HP + no phys defense + high magic defense
your call on choice, each have their strengths and weak points.0 -
prolly, some arcane vit build 2-3 points every 10 lvls i believe..BUILD EFFICIENCY CALCULATOR: pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1129681

go for the build that gives 1-2 vit each 2 lvls
and 7-8 mag each 2 lvls you will have decent atack and decent hp for a clericits impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
just try to be a good person

I'm a LA cleric. I've found that my magic attack hasn't suffered too heavily from that, despite rumours to the contrary, although this may likely be due to my mid-levels (At time of posting im Lv 64).
My HP is superior to just about every other cleric I've met. This is largely due to refines on gear and HP sharding. Light armor gives more HP per refine than arcane, so you get more of a return on it. With decent refines, you can have a lot of HP without sacrificing too many slots.
At time of posting, my HP is 2856, defense (w/ vanguard) is 3021, magic attack (w/ spirits) is 3261-3696 and my elemental defenses are sitting around 3.5k. Equipping arcane armor drops my phys defense to 1007 and raises my elemental defenses by about 1k each. By my calculations im missing out on approx 500 magic attack by choosing LA instead of full-magic, less if I had gone with a hybrid. I realise the gap will increase with levels, but for now im content.
I doubt im exceptional. There are plenty of other LA clerics, some of which with no doubt better gear than I have. I think the build has character. It takes a fair amount of skill to pull it off, and you can't slouch on the equipment, but it pays dividends. It's also quite nice when you can perform feats that arcane clerics would wet their knickers at the mention of.[SIGPIC][/SIGPIC]0 -
As far as PVE goes: I'd say if you have money for gear/shards/refines go pure Mag (9mag 1Str), If you you are not so wealthy try the (7mag 2vit 1str) hybrid build until you have roughly 50 vit. You'll need to decide on your own how much vit is good for you.
Pvp it would seem a light armor build may have a slight advantage, but I wouldn't place any bets on that, and I don't know from experience.
My cleric is currently 69. I've used the hybrid 7 2 1 build until I hit 50 vit, now using 9 1. So far I've done quite well in PVE and the occasional duel without getting any awesome gear, or insanely expensive shards.
Bear in mind, clerics are ridiculously expensive without spending loads on gear. I wouldn't recommend trying to Pvp with one unless you're prepared to farm intensely, or donate heavily to PWI = )0 -

Pretty much this. Except, I've only cut back to 1 str, 9 mag for 2 lvls, then 7 mag, 1 str, 2 vit for the other 2 lvls (a 4 lvl route, or even a hybrid hybrid build, if you will b:chuckle). I'm enjoying it for the most part. I'm not too terribly squishy, yet can still dish out the dmg.
So, I'll just lay it out for you almost exactly what I've done. So, for the lvl range of 60-61, I followed:
+ Offensive build. Low survivability. High damage and healing power.
- 7-8 MAG
- 1 STR
- 1-2 VIT
Then, for lvl range of 62-63, I followed:
+ Highly offensive build. Very low survivability. High damage and healing power.
- 9 MAG
- 1 STR
And vice versa, so on and so forth. Also, when I've felt myself lacking in some way, I will alter my stat point allotments as I see fit. Just last lvl I found myself putting 4 points vit, 1 point mag, but I will just alter what I need to, to get back on track. So, basically it's up to your discretion as to what will suit you and your playstyle. b:pleased
As the poster I've quoted has stated, a cleric is very expensive. To keep up to date with skills (which is a double edged sword, as in early lvls, you'll be lacking spirit, but later levels, as with my case, you may find yourself short on coins, rather than spirit), gear (new gear and repairing current gear), and other necessities (pots/charms/etc), you'll probably find yourself irritatingly broke for most of your time. I've noticed I consider myself rich if I have over 100-200k at any one time, but the fun and experience I get out of this class MORE than makes up for the lack of finances (in-game), IMHO.

ummm.... I think your looking at the wrong class if you don't want to spend alot to get decent mp/hp points. and don't want to spend as much mp on skills as a psy, Clerics are to a drunken stupor when it comes to mp consumption.
As for the builds, any of them will work. Full mag build can work but I don't recommend it as a highly viable build unless you are willing to put ALOT into your cleric (was full mag until lvl 85 then I restatted).
I've tried a LA cleric. they work ok, they can do anything that vit clerics can do, and they are cheaper as LA is usually the cheapest armor available. Is also a great cleric to pvp with.
My personal recommendation all around is the "hybrid" Cleric, with 1-2 vit every 2 lvls. and capping at 50-100. because this is the most versatile build, since you can change the amount of vit/mag as you need, while with LA it's a very set build.
If you plan to pvp, or are on a pvp server go LA, Vit, or Hybrid. If your on pve prolly go hybrid build.0
