Hyper EXP. Again?

Ok, I know there are several threads about this... but everything I see keeps tacking the EXP being incorrect in the display.... Someone help me out here...

Level 54 assassin. Killing Level 60 Foxwing Supremes

NORMAL EXP for kill on 2x event: 806
Making 1x EXP: 403

If I used hyper stones at 4x without the 2x event I should get: 1612

If I understand this correctly, I should get 2x (806) x 4x = 3224

IF this is the case why do I get 2015?

Before it's pointed out the display is wrong. I tested the theory.

I had 311716 EXP before a kill.
I had 313731 EXP AFTER a kill.

The difference is 2015.

2015 / 4x = 503.75 EXP each kill, not 806
2015 / 8x (4x*2x) = 251.875 EXP each kill. not 403

Anyone know why this is before I submit a ticket?

    Multiplying xp in this game doesn't actually multiply xp. It adds the original amount to the xp total. So, if you have 12x xp, and with double xp, it's not 24x xp, it's 13x xp.

    As has been stated numerous times, the stacking is ADDITIVE. You do not get 2x4=8x exp, you get 4x exp PLUS an additional 100% of normal exp. As such
    403 x 4 = 1612 + 403 = 2015
    OR
    403 x 5 = 2015.

    Exactly the answer I was looking for. I searched the forums and didn't see that explained.. but one tends to give up when there are 100 replies to every thread one finds.
