My Wizard Build!! HELP!

Okay after much research for my wizard I have decided to go down the Light Armor path... I know it sounds horrible but it seems it would be the most fun.

I was wondering what type of gems I should get. I think I have narrowed it down to these 3.
Crit-HP-"-channeling" <-- Not even sure if they make those gems...
Also what type of weapon should I be looking for.
Lastly what type of tomb and genie do i need. Thanks ;)

    1st....how long do you plan on playing? and to what level?
    2nd. how much monies/time do you has to spend?
    3rd don't worry about gems until way later.....sharding/refining low level gear be pretty dumb. (also -channeling/crit shards don't exist)

    one could be fine without one
    <---don't has a tome yet.
    and for genie......choose if you want str based or dex based. (go read up on teh genie skills and figure out what you like better)
    (me think you need to do more research....)

    Yeah I think I do. I plan on playing for a very long time actually. Trying to go straight to 85-90 currently lvl 55. In college so a lot of time and not so much money.

    well um
    whatever you choose leveling is going to be time consuming and you won't be able to really PvP much no matter the build (unless you cash shop heavily/has alot of monies)...if at all during the lowbie levels of 1-80

    low level PvP as a wizard be more like......stay the heck out of sight, gather 2 sparks, stay the heck out of sight, choose a target, sutra then unleash all your attacks..attempt to escape....then either drop dead or escape successfully.

    now no matter what build you go you is always going to need monies and more monies

    but that be a problem everyone has to solve themselves.

    gear doesn't really matter before 6x (just use 3 stars, cheap molds, and such) then just get the TT60 weapon (Important as the TT60 weapon be awesome)

    now um me can't really answer any specific genie questions since me are still attempting to design an effective survivability/offensive (appears to be leaning more towards survivability)

    Thanks for the info I appreciate it. But the only thing i am uncertain of is the -channeling or crit gear. Any suggestions?

    here be some decent bargain gear me has found so far.
    there be a decent really cheap mold sleeve (sleeves of the sea captain Requisite level = 77) it cost only like 100k-250k (lost city price) for the mold which gives -6 channeling

    also Dark Pants of Hedes Requisite level: 70 doesn't give crit/chan but it sure gives really good stats (me think they go from like 300k-500k or so in lost city.)

    also me highly recommend scouring the Auction House for 3 star equipment for items such as rings, capes, etc (basically the gear you be lacking and haven't found yourself) which could have stats such as +crit%/-chan
    and stuff.
    (there be quite alot of 3 star gear that be pretty decent which you can get for cheap)
    now the interesting thing about wizards be that we can be extremely lacking in defense since we can kite extremely effectively using gush. (you can even kite ranged archer mobs since our range be greater then the range of archer mobs....very time consuming though to be honest)

    and when u get to 79 make sure you learn the best skill ever Undine Strike it will be your best friend it has super fast channeling and it is spamable ^^
