    Giodia earth vector = 85% chance at max
    so me figure that gambling on it's proc be a reasonable gamble later on. (high 8x/9x)

    but that be later...and most likely by then they would know enough to rarely put themselves in a position to rely on a chance to stun to save themselves.

    Yes. I have bad experiences with them and you as a psy are asking me how to pull aggro?

    Ever heard of chain-casting?

    Ever heard of black voodoo with spells?

    The point is, you do not have any place now. This is a fact. We can do without psys or sins, just a little longer on the run.

    Hamsta, 85% chance to stun isn't a good gamble. Everytime you cast, there's a 20% chance it will not proc. The water spammeable skill that supposed to slow mobs doesn't work at times, especially when you need it. So kiting a mob , can be difficult at times.

    By non-pure, they mean LA or Vit+mag combo. But I see their damage is just being gimped for a little comfort in HP.

    Maybe you didn't read the most recent patch notes? Sin & Psy skills had their aggro dmg turned up way too high, so you guys were stealing aggro left & right regardless of your actual dmg. That's why they had to tone it down in the last patch. Haven't done enough squads with 'em this week to notice a difference, yet.

    That's why I commented about the damage.. because the aggro was turned down.

    a. You continue to chain cast
    b. You continue to chain cast with black voodoo

    Any options above chosen above will get you aggro.

    It's aimed at psys.... not sins. I'm telling you in general on how psys pull aggro since you have asked. Thank god i'm not on the same fricking server as you.

    A little more Tideborn hate I see.

    Anyway, just play the game, you will get accepted into squads just like any other DD while running into the occasional close-minded **** that isn't willing to try anything new.

    Gotta remember that the forums don't necessarily represent how everyone in the game thinks (mainly because alot of ppl don't use the forums).

    EDIT: An assasin's rib strike can be incredibly useful for the tank btw

    Chances are alot of squads i have been to for bh doesn't have fishies. Most of them are left shouting for BH at the hunter.

    Not that I want any of them in my squads...Until such a day that fishies becomes indispensable in any squads, they best make their mark over in pvp area. Not alot of squads need them anyway. b:chuckle

    Tideborn in TW? Epic fail.

    I mean yeah a sin can kill one person very fast in a TW. ONE PERSON.
    Wizard→Blade tempest→GG.
    Barb→cata puller/arma→GG
    Archer→Barrage→GG
    Veno→Purge→GG
    Cleric→Tempest/heal cata→GG
    BM→AOE 6 second stun→GG

    Tide borns hardly have any potential in a TW. Psychics are OK, but really sins are useless. Theyre melee, theyre squishy, they can kill a single person very very fast but can they pull catas or have good AOEs? no.
    TW is a team thing, sins are good for 1v1 pvp but when theres an entire faction running down mid and top (ugh, A and B) a sin wont make much of a difference in comparison to say, a BM or wizard.
    Although psychics would be a very good choice against catapulling barbs because of debuffs and ESPECIALLY slowing down the ticking of HP charms.

    sins have 2 aoes. one of them does base dmg and 400% weapon dmg and the other one is a amp aoe.

    You should just listen to him/her,
    And oh yes a psy can steal aggro by chain casting as archer as wizz,what else. If you let a bm tank and chain cast do not expect that he keeps aggro, it s the DD duty to calm down so as not to steal aggro and i can tell you that if you use a barb to tank (since they are made for it )you ll not steal aggro except if it s one of those that doesn t know how to tank.

    If all you have to say is "psy are crapy they steal aggro and create party wipe *boohohooh* b:sad,no one wants of me b:cry", then just take the door and leave that thread.

    Anyway, that wasn t the purpose of the thread.

    Sorry to burst your "OMG you said AoE so you MUST be talking about psychics!" bubble, but Sins have two AoEs. One of the few reasons I know Sins DO get into a few FC runs here and there - I've squadded with them and watched them. My sin isn't high enough for the AoEs so I can't tell you the descriptions on them, but frankly I found it almost horrifying to watch the 10k drop in mob HP every time one particular sin AoE was used.

    All fill they mouths with fist bms can do that better than sins,psychic aoes aren't constant(even tho having 5 aoes with mana aura and chi aura means circling btwn them at a speed of 2 secs even less if you manke a macro)like wizard etc.All true and I don't care people don't want to experiment new things(still haven't done a gamma even if I have more xp than all this noobs that say no)but since it's a mmo can we give a chance to everybody to do things?I remmeber when I was a younger barb we were doing gamma with one aoe either archer or wizard and 2 bms,was as good as doing it with 3 aoe DDs.So really all this talk it's about I'm too noob do take a sin or psychic in my sqaud.Mind you gamma it's a joke of how easy it is.

    Eh whomever said that Psys give up a lot of their damage by going LA is talking out of their *censored* I'm LA and I plan to stay that way till I hit lvl 90-ish, though I tend to get a lot of: wow ur LA? first time I see a LA-Psy, comments.

    I've proven myself plenty of time, and my grinding/questing/etc isn't at all hampered by being LA. Furthermore, even with our 'gimp aoes' which by the way, can be practically chained, I was able to consistently come out on top in PQ. I have no issues tanking where needed, and Im still able to pull aggro if I'm not careful (on bosses)

    I'm less squishy in LA, and thus not killed as fast in TW. Oh and I can easily survive till the final round in the PvP-tourney.

    To the people who comment on TB as a whole, play one before you make statements/comments. It's true the classes don't have full potential yet, we are anxiously awaiting demon/sage/etc. In the meanwhile I'm enjoying my class, and our faction (as well as others on the server) even take TB-classes to RB and still do well.
