So was trying to BB the other day at a boss and when my mana got low i went to use an apoth orb to regen my mp. I clicked it over and over and nothing happened I didnt even get a message that I couldnt use the item. when I ran out of mana BB dropped and imediately I saw the orb animation and my mana started to recover. (this was a arctic orb? i think 9000 mana over 30sec not a powder for increase regen over 10 mins btw)

So was I mistaken in thinking I could use apoths during BB? (I could have sword I saw someone use one during public Quest)

Seems to me that if potions work during BB so should the apoth orbs as they are basically the same.

    apo dont work during bb xP
    u cant use apo pots or regen powders

    also regen powders stop working on bb coz of combat mode

    You are wrong in this. Event pots are very easy to come by.

    3 tokens = 50 5k recover MP pots

    3 tokens @ 25k a piece = 75k taken into 50 = 1,500 coins per event pot.

    In BB,even for a long time, should not need more then a few if you use a Regen pot before going into whatever instance (just do not buff yourself to cancel the pot). I personally so not find it all that unreasonable and DQ's could pay for that easily.

    You can buff the all squad ( you included) and use your regen apot afterwards.. works too .. (apot overwrites the buffs)
    I look at all the trollers, and Pvpers.. and know they wouldnt have lasted 30sec on Camelot.

    Rules= Know your enemy (players and NPCs) gives you more chances to survive.

    Wow Aadi wasnt taking offense it was just a joke. and the facepalm bear smiley thing was not to you it was to the general over abundant need for cash shop stuff that all. b:shockedyikes

    Anyway, I was asking about something made or somehow gotten in game without any cashop items because (though there are alot of tokens floating around for now) they wont last forever unless they bring back the packs or as was suggested by someone somewhere make tokens the drop from frost instead of the chest of coins.

    Wait what?!

    I was currently farming a mass of herbs to make soothing orbs for bb purposes. 200mp/sec compared to BB's 100/sec seemed perfect.

    Can anyone tell me why it doesn't work? I don't see a logical reason besides forcing the purchase of charms. I just sold 3 hours bb worth of seasame yuanxio yesterday. :/

    It does work, there is just a reduction because you enter "Battle Mode" while you are in BB.

    Powders work if you activate them before u set up BB they last 10 mins focus recovers extra 50 per second and another (forgot the name) recovers 100 per socond. but if ur under aoe ur go to battle mode and u get 12.5 and 25 extra per second respectively. just like rose said

    you cannot use soothing orbs (6k mp in 30 seconds) or arctic orbs (9k mp in 30 seconds) after u set up BB apparently.

    Here is a tip, get another cleric who you believe in and a skilled veno.
    And follow this:
    One of the clerics uses artic orb(prior that the 100MP per sec one) put's up BB.
    Veno passes chi.
    The second cleric also uses the 100MP orb. So he effectively does not use any MP. Also he has to watch to have 2 sparks ready.
    When the first cleric is about to run out of MP, the second cleric pulls out BB (prior that uses an artic orb).
    Veno passes chi to the 2nd cleric.

    ~Now this is risky and what not and without question using MP food is a better option, but if you want to try it i can guarantee it's fun.

    so battle mode on bb is 1/2

    still kinda much :/ 100 regen apo is expensive and then u get 50 regen from it =3

    Actually level 70 mp pots u can use and not tick a charm if u are worried about that.

    i thought it s reduced to 0 so i didnt use it
    never bothered to check numbers

    I understand powders not working since they increase actual mp regeneration by 50/s, but I thought soothing and arctic orbs were a "heal-over-time"?

    It would be like mana pots being cut by 75% in combat mode, they both do the same thing really. I still see no reason why they shouldn't work.

    I use Mana Pots =)
    Just use lvl 60,70 mana pots, you wont run out of Mana.
    BB uses 500Mp every 5 seconds = 1K every 10 seconds
    and lvl 60 regains 1250 Mp every 10 seconds and lvl 70 goes for 1600 mp
    every 10 seconds.
    So just spam the pot every time you can and you will not lose mana.

    Funnily enough, level 60 pots can't keep up for me, no matter how fast I spam, they gradually fall behind. Level 70 pots can, but you can only get those from mobs or by owning land. And it's cheaper to make an event pot from tokens than buy a lv70 pot.

    It's just a shame because apoth is free. I gather up quite a lot of herbs during mat farming so I could save a nice bit on pots. Which is probably the exact reason it doesn't work.

    Yes you can use event pots in BB. Though if your charmed shouldn't need to pot. Let it tick away!

    I always use mp pots and sesame sometimes
    Or I my BB would not last long xD
