Disconnecting

As of the last maintenance, I keep disconnecting within 10 minutes of being online.

It is not my internet connection, as I can have websites playing (such as youtube or my music) as the disconnection happens.

This has caused me 5+ deaths yesterday and a full party wipe (d/c during BB at wyvern) and I'm not too thrilled about it. I can't even survive a BH.

Just a few minutes ago, I uninstalled and deleted everything of pwi from my computer. It's currently redownloading/reinstalling.

If this doesn't work, I'm sending in a ticket because I simply can't play when disconnecting every 3 to 10 minutes.

And I know this isn't the issue with my internet because I was at a friend's house using his internet connection yesterday when it first started (thought it was his shoddy modem at first), but now I'm at my apartment with my typical modem and this behavior of disconnecting is still occuring. It's becoming unbearable.

    There are alot of posts on this topic only one i have seen had a reply from a gm basically blaming it on bad weather knocking out hubs or something i have been having the same issues and its more then frustrating

    Well, uninstalling and deleting all of my pwi files and then redownloading/reinstalling seemed to have worked fixing that disconnection issue. Though, it did take about 4 hours until I was able to play again.

    I was thinking it had something to do with my game client via the maintenance. It did start happening when I first logged on after they did their Tuesday night maintenance and ever since then...

    Some ISPs may be having some technical trouble due to all the storms int he US this week. Our servers are fine, your connection is fine, the ones in between may not be. Please try again later.

    Try restarting your PC and networking gear.
