Hey folks, From my short expeirence here I've noticed the off topic section is mostly...well trash. b:chuckle not that I mind its entertaining. but I was thinking perhaps it would be wise to remove that section from counting to post count. Because well, a users post count can sometimes delude people as to their experience.
Take me for example, I've made maybe 3 useful posts entirely ( asides from attempting to be humerous in the trashy threads). But a user that didn't look at my joining date would perhaps consider that i've been around longer then I really have.
Besides, should trashy posts really be considered valid enough to add to post count?
^_^ fairly minor issue and i'm sure you all have more important things to do then worry about post counts. xD just thought i'd give my opinion.

Not so much "trash" per say but it does get it's intake of general meh posts. I hesitate to ever post anything in the suggestions as it feels as though they are never checked, never considered, and basically just forms an outlet to keep the other discussions more spam filtered.
Edit- pt in case I failed to read the title pertaining to Off-Topic, not Suggestion xDI can see what you see not,
Vision milky, then eyes rot.
When you turn, they will be gone,
Whispering their hidden song.
Then you see what cannot be,
Shadows move where light should be.
Out of darkness, out of mind,
Cast down into the Halls of the Blind.0 -
I'm sure people think that, but think about the flip side. If we started commenting on suggestions then people would demand our response on every suggestion posted. If we didn't post on someones suggestion, people would think they were getting ignored, if we posted on someone elses suggestion they would think that their suggestion was getting implemented.
It's a slippery slope, but that's the rationale for largely not posting in response to player suggestions.
