Now that I'll be going on to lvl80 what should be a priority to get first

lvl79 skills
or lvl80 armor

I'm questioning the usefulness of the lvl79 skills they seem to be more occasionally used skills unlike ironheart, purify, and pluemshot and cyclone. maybe they can wait till lvl89. Please comment on their usefulness.

Right now the only gear I need to replace are

lvl60 quest boots -for potentially lvl80 gold(7mill coin?); but may last into 90s
lvl70 3* top - for stephenwolflords cape(1-2 mill coin for mold)
lvl50 ring - for maybe a good 3* ring(hopefully round 300k coin)

Kind of expensive but for a slow lvler like me they may be somewhat worthwhile. please comment if you have any objections or suggestions to these gear choices.

also, what lvl80 weapon did you choose; I plan going with wheel of life glaive so i can the other lvl90 and 99 weapon later on without having to re-farm. Its has +mag and +mag attack. I know it has dex but I accidentally have 20dex so if I restat out 10 then the extra weapon dex can allow me to get 2% crit again. If you see any objections with this weapon please mention.

The wheel of life kinda sucks, but the HH90 one is the best weapon, so yeah it's not a bad idea going that route if you don't want to farm out two 80 weapons.

I wouldn't worry about either of those as a priority. Your weapon should be your main priority, and leveling. If you can't level fast for whatever reason, getting hh80 gold is worth it. hh80 green is worthless.

Do not get Stephenwolfs. Go with for either rank 5 or hh80 gold.

Restat all your dex, you should have 5.

Just imo weapon first priority always, then skills. The 79 skills are expensive, but wings of protection is amazing, as it doesn't generate any aggro. then TT 80 imo also isn't worth it especially if you don't have tt70 gear already. and it's just not that good, If you browse the AH you can usually find better gear then the TT route. though ultimately any of them will work.

So I guess I can conclude that

1) skip lvl80 gear( keep checking auction for maybe a 3* top and boots)
2) get wings of protection( and skip the other one)

btw, of course weapon was first priority. And of course I would ideally restat out dex; it just aint very cheap to do.

so yeah that will save me alot of money.

Gaurdian light is nice to have, so if you can afford it you should think about getting it. it's just it has a cooldown of 5 min. so it's a very occasional spell.

And I follow up question...

does Wings of Protection work with tree of protection's max HP extension? And does it stack with Plume shell ( so plume shell absorb damage and then Wings of Protection absorbs the other 20% of damage that gets through)?

my opinion would be
1)gear (armour then weapon)
2)skills

because you have done fine before without the 79 skills. Once you reach 79 does not mean you will be thrown to hell and around unless you HAVE those skills. Alot of the high lvl 90s and 100s clerics went without these 79 skills for a while because apoc pages cost 500k+ each. They are basically a luxury. Useful like a platinum charm but can definately do without. Yes it looks glamorous because its a skill you dont have yet, but dont make that blind you.

As for armour. You WILL need that lv80 armour sooner or later. I see from your talk that you are thinking about lv90s. its way cheaper to build your own TT80 armour than saving up to buy ready made when you are decomping them for your lv90 armour. 80 is when things start to get a bit rough in hits and keeping your armour up to date will keep u safer 24/7 than a 79 skill once every few minutes you have to press manually. And TT80 green is not worthless if you are planning for TT90 gears. Starting from TT80 arcane, the stats are actually useful.

Your weapon choice seems fine.

he dont need 80 green for 90 green

he wud prolly collect it longer than he wud actualy lvl from 80 to 90 (3bh, cs, wq per day + gammas and fc)
jk, but still collecting all those mats for set wud awfuly slow him down


best if he buy 70-77 molds to wear coz thy cheap and good and make money from mats in tt xP


and 79 wop is awsume skill xP

For 80 armor I can suggest this --> (you do not need HH80 for HH90 gear)

HH80 Gold Boots
Sleeves of Sea Captain
Good 3* for top and pants (many can be better then the HH80)/Rank if you can get it

(Gear first imo, then 1 skill until you can afford the other one)

In terms of skills -->

I got Guardian Light first because of the damage reduction and since I was a HUGE instance Cleric. However, Wings is Fantastic to cast on Tanks and they tend to really appreciate it b:cute


<--- Had full HH80 Gold set through my 8x and as much as I loved it, it is a difficult farm and can be very expensive. You can find very comparable gear in 3* that will work just as well. b:victory

true not worth it but the green is............ you know now that i think about it......there wasnt much 3 stars back then.... maybe thats why alot settled for the TT gears

And you all do realized that 3* lvl80 don't seem to come by easily right now. For the past week or so I haven't seen a single 3* lvl80 top in auction or at least one with all resists. Same case with the boots.

edit: ideally I could find good squad and spend 80+ hrs farming for mats. But I can't. I've got a life. And ideally I would have 10million coin but right now I only have 700k(earning maybe 200k a day).

You can get some that are a level to a few levels below your actual one. It will all depend on the stats of the armor. I am full arcane so I look regularly for upgrades and I can tell you that I still have a 3* Level 37 Cape because the modifiers (+40 HP, +40 HP) are better then any I have seen at my own level. You have to think outside of the box, some lower level gear I think you would be surprised at how good they actually are.

It's about deff modifiers are just a nice bonus. If i was to ware low leveled gear...i am afraid to think how many times i would die by doing things i do

I used ONE piece pf armor as an example, please do not assume you know my entire build. I will continue to wear the HP mods because, like I said, I have yet to find a better cape with what I am looking for. Not all of my pieces have HP mod's.

I have yet to have an issue dying and I was using one piece of armor as an example. Also, I am using my Psychic as an example since I am full arcane, my Cleric is not full arcane and uses different modifiers and sharding.

I do not have issues surviving unless I am ganked by someone much higher then my level. Mobs, I have yet to have a major issue. Aggro, now that is an issue b:surrender

My cleric did not use pdef at all until around endgame and had no real issues surviving. It is about knowing your character and about how you play it.

However, my full-arcane build on my Psychic would work well for an Arcane Cleric. It is a mix of HP/Pdef, this is with both mods and shards.

well ... one idea that many refrain from doing (poor mans build) altho it works..........is swapping some half stated gear.

say you find a 80 gear 2-3 stars that have a REALLY high elemental resist but there is only 3 elements listed. Try find another piece of armour on another part of the body that has the lacking stats. There are also ornaments that have a load of elementall stats that pple just throw away cause they seem to 'work for ****'
For pdef and HP? try out some minimum lvl HA, say boots, that you can wear. You will be surprised at how much def a low lvl HA will give u by sacrificing only a tiny bit of your elemental resists.

say you find a 80 gear 2-3 stars that have a REALLY high elemental resist but there is only 3 elements listed. Try find another piece of armour on another part of the body that has the lacking stats. There are also ornaments that have a load of elementall stats that pple just throw away cause they seem to 'work for ****'

I've seen BMs and Barbs who do that, but for clerics idk. And the HA boots idea doesn't work. I'd be wearing lvl18 boots.

Thats the point of it. Pple dont want to use it because they immediately look at the lvl and thing OMG its lv18. But when stats are compared that lv18 mithril has more than double pdef of any given arcane lv80 boots. Because you sacrifice a little elemental resist for it, is why i said you purposely look for the high lvl arcane gear with only few but high elemental resists. Its basically the same stats you get as everyone else, diff. is that you use a variety of lvls and gear instead of gear with a fix set of stats. Yes you need some planning and window shopping in AH but it is cheaper.
