    Very, very simple.
1)See an item for a low price
    2)Buy said item
3)Sell said item for a higher price
    Tah-dah!

Buy Honey Juice at 2000 and below from the Auction House and West Archo. Then go to Hidden Hero's Village and set up shop near the Elder, selling for 5000. This is the location that players doing their first DQ come to to cash in their Dull Claws, at which point the Elder tells them to get Honey Juice. I relied on this location to generate about 200k-500k per day profit for a long time, and it was an excellent source of income.

However, having just told you this, I've gone and undermined the value of the location by revealing it to competitors.

Ultimately, your success or failure as a trader depends upon being able to figure out times and places where there is a shortage of supply. The markets are constantly shifting, and your competition is constantly changing as well. While some markets are more reliable than others, the biggest payouts and easiest money is going to come when you yourself notice a market shortage that nobody else has noticed yet.

I used to sell HP/MP potions on top of a house in The Mines. I bought from npc and charge 30-50% more. I get about 1 mil every week or so. I did that to get my Herc back when gold was around 100k per.
Maybe there's still a market for that with all the new Tideborns? You ain't gonna make much since gold is around 350k per.

That was Warren's point. The very act of telling you, on a public forum, how to make money, negates that tactic as a method to make money because lots of other people who read it will try it. To make a lot of money, you have to come up with a good idea on your own, or have a really nice friend who tells you in private.

I don't have any problem making coin on any of my characters. By 20 my TB had 200k, just from drops and mats and at 35 had close to a million coin before I bought a mold.

I have yet to figure out why people say this game is hard to make coin in. Maybe they have an inflated ideal of what constitutes a 'lot' of coin. As long as my characters are able to pay for themselves, buy their own equipment, pay for their own repairs, buy their own charms etc I consider them to be doing well.

I tried selling Honey Juice like you said, a few months back. It's not really a fast way of making money -- I left my computer on for hours and I don't think I sold many of them. Mind you, the strategy works -- I had far more success with a different item next to another NPC...

Though, if there's one thing I'm starting to realize in this post-Anni-pack economy, is that grinding for drops to sell to the NPC merchant is even more inefficient than before. Or to take it to the extreme, nothing except cash shop items is going to make fast money. Mats are heavily farmed and imo not that great.

I have yet to find a good way to make spending money, money just to spend for fun stuff in the game, like fashion, fancier wings/mounts, mini pets, etc. But, for everything else, like pots and gear, i have been grinding/just quest and saving decent drops to be sold in AH, and merchanting everything else (i have noticed more and more ppl are taking advantage of the AH and i am friggin happy about that lol, over-usage of catshops annoys me).

I do have a trick or two up my sleeve for "merchanting" an easy way, but I don't make much money at all. It is very simple though b:chuckle

Hell no <_< 1 million coin isn't even close enough to buy a TT90 set. That might get you one cheap mat, that's it.

Farm low lvl herbs in the TideBorn area. Make life powder pots and sell in catshop for 4-5k. Not 500k per day but u can do a nice amount of coins.

Well I don't quest after a certain lvl unless I'm bored so my income comes from farming mats and selling to whoever is paying more whether catshops or guildies. I've been lucky in getting molds, I've gotten about 3 from fbs so far and I've gotten all the TB molds up until now (dunno if the last two are suppose to give just mirages but w/e). But on my veno back on HL I use to farm dqs from those little imp looking things at Kings Feast, I'd kill around 50 or so depending on how good the drop rate was and sell the dqs and get 100k easy. It was a lot easier than joining a 7x zhen party and going to Burning Heart for the dqs there, even though the dqs can be sold to NPCs for about 5k each but the drop rate is different for those mobs hardly any dropped whenever I zhened alone.

So it all depends on what you can get and whether its actually needed by other players. You can always try making gear and selling them in lowbie areas, or selling NPC pots/apothecary pots outside instances (I saw someone do this inside Secret Passage).

Any moneymaking that is tied to farming or killing mobs is going to be somewhat limited. The real money is where you can just buy and sell 7/24 without having to actually do anything.

Often the best place to buy is different from best place to sell, in which case you maximize your income by running 2 catshops 24/7. If you cant run 2 then use the AH to sell and catshop to buy.

I didnt even bother reading any of the other posts after Satida's first post. Isnt a point.. there is always a way to make coin in this game, it just takes time and effort. there is not "quick cash scheme". farm mats, farm herbs, sell drops, auction house, any of those will get you profit. I spend a couple/few hours a week farmin mats to pay for gear/questing/dailies every week. even trying to find things to buy low and sell high takes time. long story short, there is no "quick cash-scheme".

    Edit: I meant "Saitada's" post

lmfao!!! that video is bull. the mobs on nightscream isle do NOT drop 100-300k coin.. its more like 100-300 TOTAL not 100000-300000+

Edit: Self-Zhening (aoe grinding) is a decent way to make coin, but mainly from item drops.. you spend money on repairs, pots, charm ticks... its all costly.. hence, no real "quick cash scheme" unless your scamming people

Returning to making money, there is always a way. The most inportant is just to know what sells and farm that.
With this ocasion i'd like to apologise to all the venos. So the way i made money when i lvled my barb was with hay. Yes hay. I farmed lvl 31 antilopes and got around 10 hay drops in about 30 mins or so. This does not include dq drops and money. I made in total more than 1 mil from selling hay in catshops.
This is my exampe and it's one of the manny thing u can farm for money.
It maybe seems pointless to do that at such a low lvl but i think it's worth the effort, isn't it?

Yeah, hay prices are insane. My minibarb just hit 30, gonna grind my own hay now :)

I, myself, am terrible at merchanting. Still - element... orbs? The ones you need for that stupid level 50 quest that drop from the princesses?
Those sell fairly well if you set up stall in tusktown near either the banker or teleporter.

Potions sell well, I've done best with those setting up in the city in the swamp. (Selling level 50 60 and 70 naturally) Oddly, the purple pots just never ever sell. (Sell all pots just below vendor price, obviously)

And yeah, grinding on nightscream aint terrible. Oreliths seem to be even better though.
