i got a level 31 cleric and spirit starts to become a serious problem
i want a cleric with a focus on suport while stil maintaining solo capabilities
so far soloing is no problem and i have a hybrid vit mag(4 mag 0.5 str 0.5 vit each lvl) cleric
my problem is even when i only level plume shot and cyclone skil as offensive skils
i stil have a great lack off spirit for ih,ress and the buffs
so i really wonder what skils to lvl asap and which to keep behind
and dont tell me to read the stickies cause the ones for clerics just suck

ih 1st priority, plume shot 2nd priority.
That pretty much everyone will agree with.
after that it becomes more of preference. you really don't need any other heals then ih for a long while. but if you decide to lvl another, go with wellspring surge.
on the buffs, if you need to wait to lvl 1 wait on Celestial Gaurdians Seal. It is expensive and really doesn't do that much, its only nice to have when meditating.
for attack spells and debuffs, hold off on debuffs until you have spirit unless you plan on pvp. great cyclone you can wait to lvl though it will increase your dps, and has a slow effect, it is nice to have. but since it's not spammable plume shot definitely comes first.
As for rez, I personally always kept this max to my lvl. some people disagree. but in reality it is rather cheap and people will appreciate it.0 -
My main priorities were getting plume shot/ great cyclone and Ironheart Blessing up to date. I maxed out all my other offensive/self buff skills when I had the spirit/coin. Just because you are a Cleric it doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your solo abilities for other people. Max the primary skills for YOURSELF first, and then the support skills. I did however max celestial guardian at a hefty price, and all the buffs + squad buffs. After that I worked my way up with my own skills, and I think I maxed my revive at lvl 70+ or something.. Revive is really useless even at max level, you might get a reward for it and it's nice for your friends.. But strangers will reward you with cheap free meaningless thank you's.
Just one last tip : don't put others before yourself. This might sound selfish, but they won't do the same for us. Don't bother with blessing of the purehearted, thunderball, siren's kiss and stream of rejuvenation ( leveled it to 8 today ) for a long time, I still haven't used stream a lot other than the occasional big heal. Blessing of the purehearted is just **** at it's best, thunderball is just something you can outdamage in the timeframe..
And as far as the lvl 79 skills go get them both if you can, can't complain about either of them other than the 5mins cooldown on Guardian's Light.
I'll try to sum all the skills up for you with the following list ( in general )
Priorities
Plume Shot
Great Cyclone
Ironheart Blessing
Magic Shell ( no explanation needed )
Vanguard Spirit ( no explanation needed )
Spirit's gift ( no explanation needed )
Wellspring Surge ( max it after Ironheart if you can, the more you level the more it heals, and the near quick heal can be the difference between life and death )
Elemental seal ( depends on coins/spirit but it can be really helpful )
Dimensional seal ( depends on coins/spirit but it can be really helpful )
Plume Shell ( can save your life many times )
Wield Thunder ( awesome non-chi nuke but comes at a hefty price, only level when you can afford to do so )
Purify ( try to max this when you can, you need it maxed but I don't remember the right level for it to be maxed, either way, just get it as high as you can afford )
Tempest ( Our strongest chi nuke, only level when you can afford to do so, it can be quite expensive )
Chromatic Seal ( really useful in both PvE and especially in PvP but it gets somewhat expensive over the levels )
Silent Seal ( useful in keeping targets away from you but comes with damage reduction )
Razor Feathers ( level it when you can afford to, our only non chi consuming AoE attack )
Chromatic Healing Beam ( leveling extends range + amount healed, up to you to consider this a priority )
Regeneration Aura ( A must to have, no contest )
Heaven's Wrath ( Another must have, but you can be more useful debuffing and DD'ing depending on your build/level)
Secondary :
All the squad buffs of our own self buffs ( it saves mana and extends duration, but our magic defense buff is still glitched and runs out before the others )
Celestial Guardian's Seal ( It only shines when you meditate, it does add more over time if you don't but it's not a cheap thing to level )
Stream of rejuvenation ( Heals a lot but has only occasional uses )
Revive ( completely useless to us, will save some sad faces in the squad or random people, but it's generally useless to any Cleric )
Siren's Kiss ( only good thing about it is the chance to freeze the targets, but the damage is quite awful )
Thunderball ( I still have it at lvl 1 and you can outdamage it easily with other skills.. But if you like to see a thunderball above anything's head, go for it )
Blessing of the Purehearted ( A slow casting heal but it can heal quite a lot, but at the times I would even think of using that I would rather use IH/Wellspring or Stream. I have at it at lvl 1 and use it as a chi builder along with my Sage chi skill )
Can't think of anyhing else right now.Few people make mistakes with fire after being once burned, of people who regard water lightly many have been drowned - Yamamoto Tsunetomo0 -
IH: asap
plume shot: asap
cyclone: it s very good skill, but if u look for more sp for other skils u may
save some on this one (but totally worth maxing anyway)
plume shell: asap (unless 'towning' in dungeon isnt problem for u)
wellspring surge: bit weak on low lvls coz of low mag attack, but it will become ur 2nd heal (4-5lvl before 60s, max after?)
purify: 1lvl till fb69 (few bosses on world map arent worth lvling it up) max for FC after 80lvl
debuffs: no point (and sp) to lvl up it at lower lvls
seals: they are bit crappy.. aggro'ed mob will lose seal quick or wont get it
at all.. unless u plan to pvp on low lvls sp-wise is to not bother them
AoE attacks: dont bother unless u have some good reason
Wield Thunder: it s just good opener, so u may skip it for now
Chromatic Healing Beam: it s awfuly slow so u wont use it too often, but u will use it eventually.. so lvl it but slower
Stream of Rejuvenation: ur 3rd heal, u wont use it too often but it can be life saver
buffs: asap (but not that hp/mp regen ****)
revive: i maxed it asap but... the truth is that 90% of ppl have no idea how much exp they lose with it or without it..
and exp loss is kinda small since dailies.. but ppl will demand it maxed anywayBUILD EFFICIENCY CALCULATOR: pwi-forum.perfectworld.com/showthread.php?t=1129681

i found whirlwind to be more of a priority becuz i kite with it but havin maxed plume has still come in handy numerous times, IH, plume and whirlwind shud take 1st priority, revive and the rest of heals can wait til later....most ppl will want a high lvl cleric anyway so might as well focus on lvling 1st.0
