Hi, I'm a level 25 Cleric, and I am trying to buy the Celestial Guardian's Seal from the Cleric Trainer but when I try to, this shows up, "Prerequisite skill level too low." What must I do in order to get this skill?

Have you done your cultivation quests ? (yellow one)

You need "Aware of Principle" cultivation level to be able to learn the skill.

Also make sure you have enough coin and spirit to learn it.

Yes you need to be Aware or Principle go back and do your spiritual culti.

I had the same problem. Tech support gave me the same useless prerequisite information. The problem is not having the Magic Shell spell learned first. If you look carefully on the skills page of the spell (not where you try to buy it), you can find the reference.

If would be clearer if they put this spell under magic shell in the skills tree, making it clear that Magic Shell is a prerequisite, like other spell trees.

An alternative would be to have the error message say, "You need Magic Shell first". Rather than "Prerequisites not met".

I just think you haven't done your cultivation quest yet.

general rule with any class skills - in the skill tree window, if the skill appears are connected by gold arrows then you usually need to learn at least level 1 of the preceding skill in the tree before you can learn that skill. If they appear on their own (not part of a connected string of skills) then generally you don't need to havent learnt any particular skill to learn that one - just the required cultivation level

in the image linked (cleric skill tree), you need to have the appropriate culti level for the skill AND..

for the skills in the red boxes: you need to learn the first, before you can learn the second, then the second before you can learn the 3rd etc
for the skills in the yellow boxes: you need to have learned the first skill to level 10 before you can learn the next skill (single player buff maxed before you get squad (all at once) buff)
the skills in the cyan boxes: these are independant of other skills and can be learned on their own
