Which one should I learn first?

    BT since it will help you a lot with mag res mobs. It's your only skill that does physical damage.
    poison+ BT will make killing Increase mag res mobs actually possible.
    Right now, on the magic res mobs my lvl I tripple spark+undine+posion+normal combo and the dmg on it is equal with the dmg I do on common mobs. The other day I critted almost 40k (one shot on Skull Hunter) with a frezy+poison BT on a increase mag res mob in OHT...I lol a bit after thinking what a pain where those in the past , hihi

    I would say the optimal ulti skill order is:


    Blade Tempest
    Essential Sutra
    Black Ice Dragon Strike
    Mountain's Seize

    and about BT.

    if u compare the BT with water dragon ulti then u can see the water dragon give more dmg, but the facts BT deal more dmg on mobs because mobs ahve less pdef than mdef :)

    so this is the best but sutra nice too and from sutra ahve only 1 lv so its cheap XD

    What about pvp wise which one does the most damage at lvl 1?
    Because when I get to 60 I'm going to get into some pvp battles.

    at lvl 1 they all suck.
    but the biggest advantage that any one of them is bringing to you is phys dmg = BT

    I was able to one shot clerics my level in the 60s with BT. My best advice, get them all! I saved enough spirit and cash to be able to get each and every one of them.
    Sins are Scissors. Psychics are Rocks.
    Archers, Venos, Barbs, Wizards, BMs, Mystics, Seekers are Paper.
    ...and Clerics are Mushrooms.
    Paper beats Rock. Scissors beats Paper. Scissors also happens to beat Rock...until Rock gets 50k+ soulforce at which point Rock becomes an unstoppable killing machine that beats Paper... and would beat Scissors but it can't find Scissors, because Scissors are invisible.
    So Scissors beat Paper and avoids Rock, and that is called BALANCE. -cheze

    I'd say that you should get ES first, followed by BT- all because you would have the reserve heal just in case the cleric fails. BT is good too, but I support the squad as much as I can. MS is stun, and BIDS is nuke. I dunno which I should save for last lol...

    About using Blade Tempest for PvP: the damage in my sig is from blade tempest + HF to three barbs, it works great for PvP until you get upwards of +400magic stat (from there you'll want to use AoE stun or dragon to slow instead as these have debuffs + raw damage).

    edit: nm 26k bt crit is easy: 2spark + heavens flame + crit = 25k+
    edit 2: add genie skills & different class debuffs (wf amp, tideborn stuffs, wb armor break etc.) and damage can skyrocket. The point of this was to show that Blade Tempest provides more than adequate damage in PvP, not to splurge e-peen chowder all over the mage forums... that's Haiz' job -_-

    this is my dmg at 89 with tt80+2 (1x rank 5 mattack shard XD)

    it was duel 1vs1 and both 2x was crit.
    1. was 3rd spark+20att lv+genie amplify++udine+BT
    target: unbuffed lv88 ea

    2. 3rd spark+20att lv+20%amplify+udine+Water Dragon
    target: full buffed AA wizz lv 87 with tt80 set.

    have another friend who dont used 20att lv skill and made 14k non crit with BT on 2lv lower archer (ok this wizz got gold tt90+9 XD)

    barb in human: maybe BT
    barb in tiger: Water ulti

    Cleric with barrier: Water ulti/earth[if have fury pot for sutra]
    Cleric without barrier: BT

    etc etc this situation depend

    he says his BT does more than his BIDS so thats all he uses.

    I prefer using BT in PvP but just having a chance of 30% more crit makes me want to use my BiD more. BT is better on all classes except for a barb, and I'm assuming the blademaster has his magic sutra up which will make BT do more damage than BiD. BT can still do good damage on barbs though, I believe I have crit some for 10k with my BT and thats no sparks or HF added on. With BiD though that crit may be 15k or so.

    So is my e-peen chowder really that bad?

    pw ms and i doubt u can do here lower with ur genie debuff +spark potion :)

    this was (unbuffed) archer and (buffed) wizz and both crit (again i must say ulti with 3rd spark and 1x lv79 debuff 1x genie debuff and 1x genie self buff) and i bet the dmg output not different in pwi/pw my/pw ms ;)
