12000 socket stones?

Do you now, that you need 12000 socket stones for gear g.14?b:angryb:angry
I was just curious how many stones I need for 4 th. slot for heavenrage(Dancing Sparkle) boots. I was really shocked.

    Well it's not that much since obtaining rank 14 gear would be much harder before the anni packs.I'm sure now they'll nerf a bit or make some sales or invent something like that +10 refining stone for only 75 gold.

    I'd add this to their massive list of fail, but that list has been too full to add any more for weeks now... -.-

    12000 socket stones, at an average 20k apiece works out at an insane 240,000,000. For one socket. Go for 245m and hey...I've got +62hp.

    For that price I could buy a scroll of tome and +5 every single piece of equip I have....

    You gotta take into account that the PWE developers arent smart....at all. They've been failing in nearly everything lately and still havent fixed the old bugs.

    Hmm so

    1000 for 4th socket of TT90 (grade 11)
    2000 for 4th socket of TT99 (grade 12)
    8000 for 4th socket of Lunar (grade 13)
    12000 for 4th socket of Event (grade 14)

    I can only imagine what Nirvana would be (grade 15)
    probably 24000?

    BTW BH100 has a 40% chance to award 50 socket stones, if you get that every day you could get the 4th socket in 8 months.

    off topic if grade 11 requires 1000 stones its quite weird my grade 10 gear only requires 100 stones for the 4th socket

    In the end there are only a few decent reasons to add that 4th socket

    1) You have waaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaay too much money

    2) You just have to have whatever stupid effect the gems give you

    3) You have every last piece of "end-game" equipment at a minimum of +8 and tri-socketed (weapon two sockets), and you plan on adding some of those handy little 10 vit stones to top it all off.

    you have no need to get a 4th socket on those, its not as if a small amount of hp/pdef is going to significantly affect gameplay lol.

    I don't think its 40% to get socket stones... after all there is still mirages, chips, exp, and coins. So far from personal experience... mirages has the highest chance and exp/coins has the lowest.

    so, first you have to spend more than $200 to get the ******n gear.
    and not happy with that, you then have to spend like what? another $400 more in order to get a 4th socket?

    someone really was the top of his economic class at the PWI executive office.

    This is where I'm thankful for not being a competitive, "need to be on top" kind of gamer. I don't even need all these sockets for what I do, and for what they are for anyways.

    Having the spare money - including money for a bunch of stuff I want IRL and that I prioritize over in-game things - I might considering getting high-end stuff like that.

    Might.

    Because that's just insane.

    I'm glad, that my helm of punishment and heavenrage boots came with 3 sockets. I saw already these gear with two. Poor players.
