marriage quest mobs

is it just me or are these monsters almost always nearly impossible for mag users.
I cant beat one of these batwings without my 7.5k of mp running out & having to use pots. My wife kills them fine, but what if we were both wizards or clerics?

it'd be near enough impossible. Is this a bug or are they supposed to steal all your mp?

    My husband and I are both clerics, and we use less than 3 yuanxiaos every time we have those kind of boss/mobs quest. Just kill them faster than they can suck your MP dry. b:chuckle The MP pots don't cost that much so it's not really a problem.

    I just have my wife heal me and i kill them b:dirty. Im spoiled

    They zap me pretty hard O.o Took the bats a little lightly when I was 1v1 pwning and dropped a HF into the middle of a crowd of them.... b:surrender

    With me it usually ends up in me trying to ks my hubs.. Its kind of a hobby. Too bad he's an archer that one hits em b:sad

    Yes this mobs are impossible for mag user. I can beat the spider just fine but i have to use tons of pots with my pure mag wizzy (I'm LA wiz btw) husband healing me. But we have died so many times on the other bosses that it's crazy and unfair. We have to have a cleric now outside of squad healing us. I think something should be done or make some of the other quests at least harder for some of the other classes as well. lol I think the person who made up the quests has a thing against mag user. Love the exp tho b:chuckle

    Huh? They are not. My hubby (assasain) have been killing them since mid 4x. In fact Mag users are the best as there damage on these mobs are slightly higher and the range.

    Just pot right when you start and you should not need more then 2-3 more (if that).

    Well me being an archer and my wife being a veno works just fine. The little Batties dont get to attack me at all before they die :). Its more of a killing competition between the two of us to see who can kill more. Usually its a tie or she wins b:surrender.

    @Jolly
    Ask your hubby to use Aim low -> normals -> stun -> normals. They would probably hit him just once or twice before dying since they dont have that long a range to attack. And i think they can be knocked back as well but never tried.

    The worst of all is the hp debuff boss in the rescue mission. I usually let my wifeypoo handle that one while i debuff its hp b:laugh
