Has anyone found the quest where the badge of lucius is used yet?

So has anyone done this quest yet? I've had this stupid item in my inventory just taking up a slot for no reason for ages now. I've yet to come across a quest using it and i'm not 47. Has any of the higher level tbs out there found out which quest uses this pointless item?

    cant remember exactly but i *think* it gets used in the quest where you go into mountains of despair and talk to murmuring man, ithink its a level 17 quest, check out the guides for more info

    You need to have the badge in your inventory (not in the bank) when you go into the mountains. It will trigger a quest to talk to a NPC further up the road.

    I've done this quest, but I don't remember which quest it was.
    So just keep the badge in your inventory.
