Rillien - Heavens Tear

Really nice pdef necklaces + belts, and high refines on those can give you a LOT of pdef. Also looking for capes/hats that give you extra pdef. Cape of Elite Leather mold gives you an extra 250 pdef I believe.

Lots of clerics shard hp and pdef both, but TT90 has good + hp/vit adds on every piece. Plus refines on those pieces adds lots more health. So if you have let's say 50ish or lower vit, + 90 green armour + all those things you can get surprisingly high.

Yes it does either cost lots of rl money or lots of in game time b:surrender

I noticed you still advocate putting points into VIT rather than going full magic. Is it really worth it? Each point of VIT only seems to give +10 hp, so even 50 VIT is a rather small HP boost of only 500 which you can obtain easier with shards or refines. Granted you can do both, but im wondering if diminishing returns on magic attack might be the reason you'd recommend VIT over extra MAG for high levels.

50vit saves your **** from not getting 1 shot killed trough an AoE, and it does not gimp your attack that much. Plus 50vit is cheaper then refine and shardin specially @ levels when its not needed.

Should I also add sapphire shards for magic atk/def? I can try to buy more armor from the auction that already have sockets on them...(or might already have shards on them)

if u wnna go arcane now its still no problem,... you only got 28 dex,... its not that big of a problem really,...
either u reset it to 20 or either to 5 or so,... all up to your choice,... or else, later u can maybe with a tome and some gear bonusses get to 40 dex, that gives u 2% more crits,... its not really that big a problem,...

I think its better to go as a hybrid cleric rather than la.

I been lvling this cleric as la up until 66, just to see how it was. It was nice at lower lvls, but later on the reduction in dmg from being la was becoming more noticable in later lvls.It really stood out when my wizzie friend was killing faster then I was when he was my lvl. I know they are supposed to hit harder, but the difference in the damage was just too much.

Also, magical mobs were beginning to hit harder and harder. The Pdef that I had didn't spare me from the dmg from phys mobs. In pvp or pk, the def that I had still made me squishy. I didn't die fast, but I couldn't kill my targets fast enough.

I decided to switch to hybrid yesterday. I put in 25 vit, but I sharded my gear w/ citrines. I have about 2.1k hp atm. It such a big improvement. More mana, more atk, I kill mobs faster,etc.

My point: avoid la as a cleric and go hybrid if you want survival. Vit > Pdef b:victory

Blanket statement of vit>pdef isn't necessarily true if you want to take advantage of your self-buff. Pdef does give diminishing returns, but definitely not to arcane users--and you will most certainly encounter physical AOEs that will take huge chunks out of your vit-pumped health unless you have decent pdef to back it up.

Best thing to do is to try to balance both. But glad you found a build that worked for you b:victory

TCHP - Lost City

Humm every one say LA is weaker. Has A LA build myself I can aoe grind physical mob my level and survive it alone (did 6 couraget master so far). Yes I do have lower damage... 500 to 750 less damage / attack witch cost me 1 or 2 extra spell. BUT I farm nice critical gear and have reach 16% and I'm still hunting more Mag and Dex armor and + critical bonus to balance my weakness. And I can say that those critical happens a lot. There random, that is the worst part of it. Physical and Magic monsters do almost the same damage. So the killing is the same.

I can take a beating from barb my level and sometimes kick there **** in dust. BM have a hard time to get me down but they win because of there stun and dps. But Archer / veno / wiz beat me easy, cleric I say 50/50. I can still 1 shot veno or wiz if I hit first.

But stat on the side. I say that when I started I was LA build and someone told me to go Arcane. I was use to be able to take hit and I died a lot so I came back to LA. I prefer the LA fighting style over the arcane.

I would say what ever most feel comfortable with.I do like TT80 LA over TT80 AA.

Both LA and AA TT80 arent very good tho unless you mean gold. =/
