85+ grind spots

Outgrown the butterflies *finally*. Any idea where i can nix grind/aoe grind with herc on some higher lvls? So far I've been hanging out in burning heart but haven't found anything worth it in terms of drops/exp.

    yea, i hate it too. but thats the only thing i can think of, besides the mobs that look like dismal shade, but wood element is bad for us. maybe some lvl 90 mobs could work, idk...

    EDIT: Im checking pwdatabase atm.

    Um - you're still just inh range for the cougars between lost and burning.

    The real blazing phoenixs (phoenices?) are perfectly killable from about level 70.

    The deathknights have an annoying ranged attack, I'd avoid those.

    Or you can skip right up to the level 101 stuff down by cromagnon - there's physical-only there.

    Currently on the nivastok braves, lvl 95 with ~50k hp and 570 exp. Nix still chews thru them, but takes longer thn usual. Think i'll check the justice quest mobs >.<

    I have not grinded in a while, but I would recommend you to run FF. Pretty decent exp with a good squad.

    The firebath phoenix is pretty good as well if you like air fight.

    I recommend firebath nix as well. Can be a bit crowded at times however.

    I haven't tried them yet, but I know you can kill water mobs from the air, and I've heard that the undines near 1k give good exp.

    And are the phoenix's your talking about the ones in burning heart that fly around in huge packs?

    You can do water mobs pretty easily by flying over the surface, using venomous, and flying up. It pulls them up for nix to om nom nom rather nicely most of the time.

    Yep those ones.. But remember to take a break once in a while... Their firey glamor always kills my eyesb:surrender

    Cave of sadistic glee, rogueknight felons, ridiculously punt - not even elite - and drop element lights all over the place.
    (And other similar stuff, pwd claims 10% drop rates - and they respawn! Hoorah! No aoe grinding though, really.)

    Another thing I've just discovered--the Lv 98 spiders at avalanche are incredibly squishy. My Lv 63 nix can tank 2 or 3 at a time with casual heals and kills them pretty fast. I imagine they'd be ever faster for you. Good drop rates and +500 exp/kill.

    Those spiders only use poison attacks, so they are great for a pet with high mdef, like the phoenix. They are also a great source of glaze :)

    array sentry's in oht are the best for 70-90.

    after that there is avalanche crushers in valley of the scarred.

    They melee once in a while too--for ~43/hit. But yeah, the nix's mdef eats up their DoT nicely, and I've been noticing the glaze. They're so nice and squishy, too.... I think they're going to be my new grinding spot, haha.

    wat about the mobs near Boundless Grass or Plain of Farewells? there not too low lvled and not high too :)
