and no, I used White voodoo and Soul of Vengeance, and watched the mob die, then miraculously take me with it. (from over 400hp, mob was only doing 98, that took 4 shots, think I wouldn't have potted up if I was taking that much damage?) I didn't use a heal, or attack spell, and it was already agroed, INTENTIONALLY

jesus christ. i can run through them all with my main and none of them aggro, and i can run through them with my noob lvl 5 seller and none will aggro, but when i enter that region on character of lvl to be in there for quests they do aggro. whether i am instigating them or not.

you guys think i am an idiot? the feeling is mutual. we'll just leave it at that. and like i said, have fun dying repeatedly because you refuse to admit to common sense. i wont have that problem.

Hate to say it Vinat but in this case you would be wrong. I am currently standing right in front of wearwolf spearmen. No agro. 443 682 co-ordinates.

Now I am standing next to a barren Specter co-ords 431 685. No agro.

Now in front of a Pyrogolth Bandit co-ords 430 688, no agro.

Now standing in front of a Werewolf Hunter co-ords 433 692, no agro.

Now standing in front of a Dustwraith Sentinel co-ords 449 711, no agro.

A Shanglang Cutlass, co-ords 451 712 no agro.

These mobs are of my level and quest related. No agro from them, and each I named previously agro'd before the expansion.

sai like i said before to the sheep, im not gonna toss out my own experience for what other people say is theirs. i havent even been around those areas until after the expansion, so i dont have a comparative refrence point from what it was like before. but i know which mobs have knocked me off a mount, chased me as i walk past, killed me when i turned my head for 5 seconds, attacked me while i healed myself or a friend, or came running at me while i was fighting something else over the past few weeks. i am aware that some ppl are saying the mobs are "broken" since the patch, but i havent seen this. and as a result of this stupid thread ive asked a handful of people, and have gotten varying reports, so.. idk. my noob is almost 50 now so i dont think its worth testing. i did however just have to kill that hirudini guy for a friend about a half hour ago and had a greater ghoul chase me up the hill. that's enough verification for me. make of that what you will.

and im not even gonna comment on the jesus thing. i said it as a... whats the word.. an emphatic phrase, not in any biblical way.

Some mobs that used to agro and now don't, will still randomly agro. I ran past an aboride dryad the other day and it agro'd. Never hit it. Nbody else near it. but it took a swat at me, and unless I am totally fried in my memory, they never agro'd before.

I have had mobs that used to agro and now don't, occasionally still agro, but it seems more like the devs borked some code somewhere and now and then the old code reasserts itself and works correctly. It's rare. but it does happen.

I wonder if they are trying to implement a 'hate' level to the mobs? I.E. Mobs won't agro on you automatically until you kill a mess of them. Each kill adds a level of global 'hate' for that particular species of mob. When it reaches a certain threshold, all mobs of that species will agro on you if your in range regardless of your actions towards them.

If they are, that would be real cool.

lol when i did my 25 culti many months ago, i was no where near able to kill a lvl 31 mob so i had some lvl 30s kill em for me. actually, looking back on this makes me feel bad for pking the lvl 30s at their questing spots every day since they were so helpful to me as a noob

Isn't it obvious? Trees are the natural predators of fish. So, being a personage of fishy-based deliciousness, of course it's going to try to nom on you. b:avoid

I have also noticed that the mobs that previously used to auto aggro don't anymore. I have even gone afk by a bunch of Werewolf Spearmen for an hour or so and I would come back still alive b:chuckle. Though I also noticed not all mobs have been messed up with aggro. I've mainly noticed that in the 30+ levels though.

OP, I really think you either lagged or got a random aggro on you. I frequently got a random aggro by casting either white/black voodoo or healing.

Lol since the expansion I have also noticed that some mobs which always used to auto aggro now dosent. It always ends in me sneaking around them only to notice that one has respawend right in front of my face. I get scared but nothing happens it just stare at me without attacking O_o
