Problem with pking :o

Just ran into a weird problem. Hopefully someone knows what the problem might be.

Basically I can't attack anyone using my numeric or function hotkeys.
It works fine if I hold ctrl and click the skill on the hotbar, but not if I click the number or f-key assigned to the skill.

And no it's not my first time pking, it just started happening today. Protections are off apart from faction members. Again it works fine if I CLICK the skill but not if I push the corresponding key (and yes I'm holding down ctrl in both cases).

I can attack mobs just fine and I tried resetting hotkey and game settings to default >.<

Any ideas?

    i had some kind of same problem with my archer back then i couldnt use any skills just normal attack but it was ages ago

    Sounds like a protections problem. Make sure you have all your protections unchecked. (IE White named protection, which is most likely the issue.)

    if your protections are off you dont need to hold ctrl. it could be your hitting too many keys on your keyboard. it can only send so many signals from buttons your pressing. if you press more it will ignore some

    I had the same problem yesterday, it seemed to only happen for certain skills however.

    I held Ctrl, then clicked F4 (my sleep skill) nothing happened, but it worked if i held Ctrl and actually clicked the skill

    However I was able to hit Ctrl and cast plumeshot by using the button.

    The Ctrl key got glitched in the expansion. :/

    Could it be anything to do with the key-bindings? Few days back i accidentally pressed k and it came up n exited, then carried on talking in Faction Chat but when i went to move i could walk (W,A,S,D) and i couldn't jump (space) i could click n move that way so i re-logged thinking that would help but i didn't i still had same problem so i opened up key-bindings and clicked confirm and it worked fine.

    I don't use protections anyway, though, so it's not a huge deal for me except when attacking guildies for fun at the end of FBs. lol

    i keep mine on White Names because im a klutz. Dont wanna accidently hit a lowbie and risk dropping my weapon


    (only carries dolls when I go out to pk) usually I just attack reds.

    I'll test again next time I am online with her, but I have had no issues and Safety is usually on with her because I forget to turn off after Public Quests b:surrender

    well...the only problem I'm still having is when I use my "Slam" skill in PKing
    it's an AOE skill but it only hit the one I'm targeting -_-
    and my protection are fine I only have protection on Faction members.
    All my Goals in Life Turned to be Offside b:surrender
