Combining Chi Stones

During the event I'm just wondering why some people still combine the lower stones into Perfects. Like, 3 Wuhsing gives 960 stamina. But 1 Liuho gives only 400 stamina when it takes 3 Wuhsing to make 1 Liuho, etc. etc. Except for feeding it to Warsoul why do people still make perfects even though it gives less? o-o

    Only reason I can think of is for Apothecary Charms.

    I don't think anyone makes perfects via combining. Perfects are obtained by decomposing g12 gear, mostly OHT gear with bad stats.
