Are oracles "worth it"?

I'm getting some gold and I don't know what to spend it on. I might get 5 of each oracle (because they only come in fives) but are they really worth it? Some people on my faction were talking about how noobish oracles were. Oracle sale ends Jan 1, so please answer!!!

    They're only really 'worth' it if you can afford thousands of them, IMO.

    Just keep grinding and spend your gold on something you'll really enjoy :)

    Oracles are cheaper bought with tokens from anniversary packs.
