My Glacial Walker is level 35 with 678 attack at .6 attack speed.

I read countless threads saying Scorpion is the cheap best attack type yet my tank has better attack, what is wrong?

Sounds like you didn't feed it. Get the loyalty to 501 or higher so it gets 120% attack. It sounds like it's at 60% attack right now.
