Problem with installing the game

A friend of mine downloaded the game with the rising tide expansion, after it was done he tried to click install, but it doesn't do anything. I've shown many people how to download this game he didn't do anything wrong as far as I can tell, he did the direct download for xp. Is this a glitch with the new rising tide or maybe he forgot something? All he said was he downloaded it and now it won't install. Please if anyone could help that would be greatly appreciated otherwise I'm gonna have him send a ticket.

    I have got the same problem. i have downloaded it but when it comes to clicking 'Install.eve' it come up with an error and closes down. i have also downloaded the 'direct' and is still not working. .....?
