BREAKDOWN :

On Christmas Day, Infamy kicked off Raging Tide's TW Scene as the first faction to enter TW. Infamy had 3 groups clear mobs on all the lanes. Everything went smoothly and the group at lane c cleared the mobs early, so they started on the mobs at the base. When the Lane B group caught up to Lane C, they decided they would start to pull the boss. Our speedy barb got a little too speedy and the boss reset. The boss then rampaged at the boss, creating chaos and havoc everywhere. Eventually, the boss was pulled and was killed by Infamy. Congrats to Infamy on being the first faction to take land on Raging Tide in 1 hour 5 minutes and 30 seconds. What a great christmas present!

Insight also went to TW on Christmas Day. They had a similar stragety to Infamy. They had 3 groups go down all the lanes, and pulled the boss and killed it. They had a few hiccups here and there when they pulled too many resulting in squad wipes, but overall, they sucessfully completed it in under an hour. Congrats to Insight on a successful TW! Christmas Color Map FTW!

Empire went in first on Sunday evening, rushing in to clear all the mobs through Lane B and get to base. Once there, the boss was pulled back to Headquarters and was nearly there when a stray flying player attacked it and reset it, causing it to pop back into enemy headquarters and wiping out a few teams of the mob clearing squads there. Nevertheless, the boss was successfully lured with a yummy looking Herc to Empire Base and fell just under 30 minutes into the war. The mob clearing groups began to head down path A, clearing the mobs there, until they met with the finished Boss sniper squads and moved over to C, managing to zerk through the lane and clear out the odd 49 or so monsters there in under ten or so minutes, giving them the current server time record of 43 minutes! Makes one wonder how this server would have been without the use of Oracles, though... nevertheless, congratulations Empire!

Kardie's Opinion:

Weeeee. Great weekend. It was a really fun weekend, aside from the fact that my pew pew arrows were only hitting mobs for 150. Q_Q. Its a real shame that only 5 factions were able to obtain land from the 19 that attacked. Oh well, better luck next time to the 14 factions that were unsuccessful. And to the 5 that were successful, congrats!

I can't wait till PvP TW starts to see how well the people who oracle'd will play their class. It should be very interesting indeed...

This will be the only TW Report you will see from us for the months of December and January. After several long grueling discussions (alright, maybe a few PMs where we both don't want to do these faction cluttered reports every week) we have decided that unless there will be an ongoing, weekly updated thread with each week's map as there is right now, we will just bother with the Before and After Maps. Come February, we've figured that the longer standing factions will already have their bases on the maps - and that's when the real fun starts.

This is 2nd week... server opened last Thursday. b:surrender Since I only know Dreamweaver server, I can only say that Calamity took land 2nd week of the server (1st week also didn't have enough hours) with Equinox following next, with Immortal, BloodPact, Elysium and Armagedon I believe on the 3rd week.

So if Dreamweaver can do it without an influx of oracles...maybe someone here can. b:laugh
