What Weapon did you get at level 70?

Im level 69 now, almost 70 and I am so torn on what weapon to get.

I've already made a thread about the Unicorn, and why I don't want it. Can everyone here tell me what they used at level 70?

    Thundercrack thanks to PvP.

    Didn't want to use a sling (W&C) so I kept a Unicorn around too.

    Gawd the Forshura's armor mats are a PAIN to get though.

    No one wants to run the boss for it, and people selling it OverCharge o_o

    Though probably not applicable for PvP servers, I've been using Wind and the Clouds since 69.

    And that's the problem with aiming for thundercrack.

    I had to... er... "persuade" a few friends to help me do runs for the armors. b:chuckle


    If you can get your hands on the rank 4 top/bracers of blood moon and don't mind slings, then I'd recommend W&C all the way. Way easier to get, that's for sure.

    thundercrack unicorn and wac. had fun with all three of them and they were all cheap(under 500k total)

    If you're saying you managed to buy all three for under 500k or that all three of them that you purchased cost under 500k (well... understandable for Unicorn/W&C but not so much for thundercrack), then I REALLY wanna know where you bought these from.

    Just get a nice decent wind and cloud. I've seen it go for about 250k maybe? With that cheap of a weapon, and cheap mirages atm, you can get it to +3/4 with 30 mirages.

    How come no one mentions the Spirit Breath level 70 xbow? It's better than the unicorn and is needed for Chained Jail at 80

    I picked up a +6 Wind and Clouds for 2.5m or so, have been using that since 69. Have never touched a Thundercrack, and tried out a Unicorn but its damage simply couldn't compare to that of the W&C. Between the high refine and my -0.1 interval bracers, I do crazy damage.

    i used wind and the fail.

    moved up to crimson horn with a pair of interval gloves, attacks as fast as wind and the fail without them did, so its nice

    I have
    Wind and Clouds +2 with a Beautiful Garnet
    Thundercrack +3 with a Flawless Garnet

    The general consensus is that Wind and Clouds is better. I am not trying to debate, but to be honest, I did grind a bit with both and I yield better results out of the xbow. Of course my examples offer 2 weapons which have uneven levels of refine and sharding, but the difference is not that great between them regarding this matter.

    I used the wind of the clouds. It wasnt bad. In my 70's, i wasn't interested in pvp much. I think it was +3 and had average p attack shards in it. So for me, since i would rarely pvp, it was a good weapon. If i had tw or pvped with someone, I pulled out my xbow from the bank since my sling did **** damage on other players. So up to you. I never tried the Unicorn bow because I didnt want to ask people to farm hh for me twice..back then I didnt know a lot of people who did HH except my guild. but yeah...

    My level 70 bow was spirit breath (but I did not get chained jail, I got soul freeze).
