Soul Force Equation

Alright I think I've gotten a rough equation down for soulforce.

(50 * Level) + (level^2) + (Refinement rate?)

I'm pretty sure the first part is right, I'm wondering if Refinment rate isn't squared as well. I have a +1, and it only adds 1 soulforce. But if it's exponential, I wouldn't know at +1 and I don't have the funds to hit +2 at my level.

If anyone can confirm this, or has any input, please let me know.

I'd just like to throw this in there for a reference to the 'soulburn' thread made earlier.

level 90 = (50 * 90) + (90^2)
(4500) + (8100)

12600 Soul force

3150 damage in PvP. That's like what? 4 hits we gotta survive from that Barb?

ya if soulburn rly does that much dmg then that can potentially be one of if not the most powerful skill in the entire game. classes will kill themselves just by atkingb:surrender if that rly true then that skill will get nerfed. the amount of QQing that will be a result of this skill will be massive.

also funny how soulburn wont rly effect sins since they have a skill to either avoid that skill or dispel it if they are hit by it. its gonna Rapee face the BMs and barbs tho.

well its not too bad, theres pics of wizards and barbs hitting 5-6k digit damage on their own in PVP. so what if psychics have a strong skill?

I really wouldn't make any plans based only on Soulforce if I were you, since it currently seems way too strong not to be nerfed, on paper at least.

If you hover over the Soulforce stat in your character window, it shows five stats, one for each of the reflection skills and one marked Mana Burn. Now, from what I can tell, Psychics don't have a mana burn skill. Since that mana burn number is significantly less than your total Soulforce and the above stated fact, I'm thinking that Soulburn damage comes from that mana burn number rather than the total Soulforce number.

Yeah, but if it burns mana = damage?

I mean, it's still a LOT, but that's a LOT of mana to burn, we'd have to pot like a *****. That's what I assumed it did....


Also, please, about the equation. Does it seem correct? What about refinement rate? Can anyone with a +2 or more tell me?

just hood, they removed the whole reflect thing, which is totally unfair.

theres wizards who do 5 digit damage in pvp with sh***y refines its jacked up.

If it hasnt been nerfed already lol, dont know what the new patch bought us yet.

My wep(Lv6) is +1 and with it i have 5617 Soulforce and without it 5616 Soulforce..
So(i think..) if you refine all your equips to +12 it only adds 132 Soulforce b:surrender

lvl6 weapon? so grade 1 weapon?

Because I think grade of weapon can change the soulforce of it.
maybe it's something like that:

(grade of weapon)*refine

And maybe refine +2 give more than 1 like for hp bonus:

I have the HH60 weapon on my Psychic and it is +2.,..when I unequip it I drop 60 Soulfource.....but right now at level 67 I have 7.8k SoulForce b:cute

So grade 8 weapon +2 give 60 soulforce? Interesting
Maybe weapon give more soulforce than armor?

I can look for you...none of my armor is +'d so getting them to +2 on mirages is easy...at least to see what the difference is.

I ish level 62, and I only get 7 soulforce (I go from 7,119 to 7,126) out of my +2 TT60 weapon (none of my other gear is refined though.)

Do ya have any other gear that's refined? Me thinks that the soulforce equation might be a power function -instead of linear- related to total refines? b:puzzled

genesis vestment +3 is 4 soulforce
sleeves +2 is 1 soulforce
prot ornament +3 is 4 soulforce

=====> +2 equals 1 soulforce +3 equals 4 soulforce

Yeah it's so hard to stop attacking for the skill-duration... /sarcasm

That being said this skill doesn't just trigger on attacks but also on any other skill being used (if I'm right) I guess I'll ask a friend of mine to run some tests.

Nevertheless ppl make it seem out to be an I-win-skill which isn't the case.

every refine point gives only 1 soulforce.Dunno above +3 since I have nothing above that.You get around 200 base soulforce everytime you level.Plus you get some from the level of the equipment you wear.I suck at making some equation about all this.All i can say is that with my standard mold/tt for my level and refined +2 i have 10600 Soulforce.
