Non-aggressive mobs suddenly attacking

Lately I've been having issues sometimes, when a mob respawns and suddenly goes after me. Like it got hit after it died, so it takes that hit into it's "next life". I'm guessing this has to do with the known "lasthit-factor".
I was wondering if anyone else have experienced something like this.

Once in a while, I also seem to target a mob when it just spawns even though I'm nowhere near my tab button.

Just while typing this, a white-eyed wolfkin I just killed respawned and came after me.b:shocked

i think the respawn is too fast and somehow when the mob respawns its still in combat with you.

It's called auto-aggro. I'm guessing they fixed the bug with that.

White-Eyed Wolfkins are supposed to auto-aggro when you get close to them...after the expansion, they didn't for some reason.

Yeah, it's me. Don't read to much into it, though; I'm only here for myself now, killin' time and chillin' when need-be. So sue me. Tch...

If I were that wolf, I would had done the same thing... he just had to wait for a cleric wolf to come and rez him, than he went after you since, as you admited, you killed him first.... Next thing you know a all pack of wolfs will be chasing you around the map...

Every once in awhile you'll find a normally nonaggro mob that will aggro you out of nowhere. I've seen it with the wolflings and scorpions outside of City of the Lost.

i'm experiancing the same thing as the OP (on the early levels)

usually when a aggresive mob respawns it takes a couple seconds before it targets you. The mobs seems to be running at you the split second they respawn.

This is actually very likely. Good point.

The white-eyed wolfkins never were aggressive, just like those brown wolves at the mines. And I wasn't talking about them aggroing when walking past them, but spawning at a fair distance and still aggroing you.

I have noticed several strange stuff since the tide born expansion was released.

    * Mobs which before expansion had aggro as soon as you came close to them seems to not have aggro now only when you hit them.
    * Sometimes peaceful mobs just suddenly gets aggro on me even though I just stand there.
    * When killing several mobs for a quest my golem just suddenly started to attack all the mobs of the same kind, when he had finished of one he just went for the next on and then the next one.

It seems that when this occurs and a mob spawns right next to one it's "linked" to, the other one gets aggro'd as well.
I've had this happen with the werewolf spearmans, but I wasn't sure if this case was that "reincarnated sense of revenge". However, it just happened with the werewolf archers too, and this time they were outside my spell range (cleric). They both came with full hp towards me.b:sad

Yes, now that you've mentioned it! My gf's veno has also had the same problem with her pet. It suddenly went to attack a random mob.

it was the treeline wolfkin that would always aggro but not the white-eyed wolfkin
devilroot Dryads agro, the others don't though..

near W arch it has always been the venomous ghoul that aggroed while the blob, rhinodrake, and dryad mobs were friendly. it was this way with my archer's, veno's, wiz's, and bms' early days, so i thought knew the 2x mobs well.

for a dryad to swipe at me was an outrage. i felt betrayed and so offended that i got off the mount and ripped it apart with my bare hands :o
