help with one tideborn quest D:

well im still at the coming of age will str etc....

just did the one of talk to duke blacke in less than 10min but now what to do? i didnt got the tideborn medal from that one so most likely i missing something -.-


also a message popped up "drunkwizard if u do not withstand the temptation of the outside word you will fail" b:shocked




b:surrender please i wnat to complete all 7 today what to do?

    Temptations of the outside world, I'd gues you have to return to the tideborn lands than.

    Abit of a hint like the culti quest where you have to die perhaps?

    b:laugh to do the quest correctly you are supposed to do nothing ... 'do not leave the maze" as it says ... just stand still, no matter what duke tells you to do .. it will do this 3 times ... at the end of the third temptation if you are still standing in the circle, you win.

    *edit* and yes, I know this is how it is done, I did it this morning :)

    Go to that spot and stay put till it tells you to see the Elder again.

    It is to "resist" the temptation of moving...Leave log open on that quest as it will change 3 times before it tells you to go to the Elder.

    Once it is complete THEN YOU CAN MOVE.

    Tells you to stay there no matter what. I thought they'd chuck a few mobs at you or something ... but no. They offer you "zomgz! super rare endgame stuffz nao!!"

    ....And people actually fall for it xD
    I like the way perfect world very subtlety pokes fun at players who go crazy trying to get uber items. Those guys have an evil sense of humor :P

    Honestly, if I wasn't reading the forums as I patched, I would've done it too.

    Not because I want the gear, but because the quest says "Go to Duke Blacke!" and has a timer. I don't read quests for the most part so I would've missed the "Don't move" command and would've thought that I was required to go there. b:chuckle

    I admit if I was tired and in a "get it done as soon as possible" mood I'd prob have skipped the elders text and done it too. b:surrender

    Kinda glad I didn't though, story for the questline was kinda fun.

    So I did what RedsRose said and just stood there but it never said to go to the Elder. I did it twice.. stood there for 10 mins both times. DX Did I miss something? b:sad

    Personally, I think if you fail the resist temptation test because, um, you failed to resist, you should not be able to get it back. Consequences for not reading quest, priceless.

    I did this and I failed. But its not because I 'fell for it'. I just seriously thought that was what I was supposed to do next after waiting there for that time I did before getting the first 'message'. After it said 'withstand temptation' that's when I understood what those messages were really for and it made sense rather than supposed to get there to continue the quest at what I thought was AFTER I waiting long enough.

    Lol at the Pegasus mount offer. Even if people didn't get the idea by that point, I wonder how many people would believe it since it doesn't exist in any information from PWI itself. Just stupid Black. :B
