Raving slash...Hit or miss?

I can't find the gold/spirit and chi cost worth the use of this skill (I save chi for sleep usually)...Very low damage and it seems really situational to me right now and I never find a reason to use it. I see some people say it's worth it so I'm wondering if it gets better past my level...3 seconds just doesn't seem long enough...maybe if it was doubled I'd consider leveling it more. The speed increase hasn't helped me catch runaway mobs at all...I still run up to them and pause and let them continue running...Pvp might find it useful though. Discuss your opinions on it here please? ^.^ I'm curious to hear other peoples.

    Useless. The speed increase isn't long enough.

    I Think I understand the Query here I have that at lvl 2 or myself I did find a skill that helps with the running part on these types of mobs. I forget the name of it but the Icon looks like a winged boot.

    My First time using this skill I used it on the Ossein Guards outside of Secret passage. Run up and use that as lead it forces them to stay where they are just long enough to use Puncture and maybe get your next high damage skill in. By the time they start to run they are 3/4 of the way dead and bleed will have them almost dead by the time they turn to attack so just use a normal attack and finish them off.

    As For lvling this skill I have not fully explored it yet so I can't give you much information there.

    It's a good skill, but it's not important. I pulled this from my guide. You'll notice that the growth rate on Rib Strike, Puncture Wounds, and Slipstream are really high (Growth rate is how much it gains per skill level). The growth rate isn't as high as Tackling Strike either, but the cooldown time is roughly half of it, so it can be used more often.

    If you want to avoid using normal attacks altogether, Raving Slash is definitely a hit. However, if you plan on using normal attacks even in the future, you definitely will not get this skill nor will you get Chill of the Deep. This move will DEFINITELY get replaced by the Assassins' AoE move at level 49.

    Level the skill, but only if you can spare it. Otherwise mine isn't very up to date either.
