True form 3?

I've had many people in game express different opinions on this matter, so I thought I'd throw it out there and see what the rest of you think. Theory is that it's easier to keep aggro with true form 2, because TF 3 reduces damage output too much. Now obviously TF 3 gives a great hp and defense boost over TF 2. So are there any barbs runnin around still using TF 2 until they can go sage/demon? or is this just another popular myth?

    your defense doesnt go up by lvl 3(the shapeshifting intesity passive makes your p.def go up)
    i honestly wouldnt have upgraded it to 3 if i didnt need the hp and i stil waited til 70+ but my stats,refines and shards were **** so i sorta needed the hp
    its impossible to always do the right thing we all make mistakes i am not different from that
    just try to be a good person

    TF doesnt decrease your damage by that much. Its worth it imo.

    i have had true for 3 for quite some time, and dont seem to have any aggro probs with other around my level. now demon sparks will take it sometimes, but lvl 11 flesh ream should help more with that than a few hundred more damage per hit (when i hit 89 that is). I say go with it, the xtra hp can save your butt, the REAL damage difference isnt too high, and the run speed is awsome. b:pleased

    Ok, here's the deal. Fleash ream generates agro on its own + the agro from normal skill damage.

    If you play with ppl around your lvl you should NEVER have problem keeping aggro with your lvl 3 fleash ream if you spam it.
    Problems with aggro begin after lvl89+ when ppl get their demon spark and feel like going all out on bosses. And even then your lvl89 skills will catch up with them, use fleash ream and devour wisely and you should never have issues with it.

    Get it to lvl3 asap, its one of our best skills b:victory

    Thanks for the replies. Sorry I did mispeak about TF increasing defence. I've been pretty much thinking the same thing about our HP being more important than our DPS, but after hearing a few say otherwise in game, I just figured I'd throw it out there. One thing I have noted though, the people in game that tell me TF 2 is better, all seem to play chars. others than barbs :P Go figure.....

    i dont think that should keep you from not getting aggro even though im noob. i rememebr at 43 lvl, i take aggro from 7x but ofc if a barb, i cant xD FR spam, you dont loose aggro.
