New icons for each class: Yes or No?

I really, honestly hope that the GMs listen to feedback on the new icons and work with it accordingly, but I've only gotten the opinion of several people in-game, so I was wondering what people think.

Personally, as a cleric, the new icons make my life a living hell. People add me to the squad and think I'm a venomancer. I can't tell the difference between an archer and a barb (big problem in tense moments in instance). Someone added a male cleric to our squad and I went, "Oh my god, how did you level a tideborn to 86 already?"
They're so, so confusing..

Does anyone else think that? :\

    while they are more polished and sleeker than the old ones, i dont like them either. they are a bit confusing. the cleric one looks like... just a twatch of blue. theres no real symbol to it. and the veno one doesnt even look like a tail anymore, just a very hard to see swoosh.

    Is that what the old veno one was supposed to be? A tail? >_>

    Come to think of it, I have no idea what the old cleric one was supposed to be either. It sort of looked like a mystical coffee maker to me.

    Liked the old ones more aswell; they wern't so flashy but they could be read more easily. The veno one now is like a polished blury version of the old icon.

    I guess it will take some time to get used to, but it wasn't a needed change.

    i agree its a pain in the **** with new symbols u gotta look alot more closely now to see who is who.

    I guess 14 if you include male and female versions.

    The icons get smaller when you are looking at squad list. Might have an effect due to that.

    You've got the labels right next to them.

    When you're in a squad and you've got an assassin here with a sword pointing one way and a BM there with a sword pointing another way and a cleric and a veno that both have little red circles and a barb and an archer that both have sort of the same little thing there.. kill me.

    I would vote no if there was a poll. Found it a bit confusing. Some of us with poorer vision may find it difficult to tell which is which now. Not to mention different quality of monitors and graphics cards some get by with.

    I've been lookin' at them in-game for a while now...still not seeing the difficulty.

    Maybe it's because you're a wizard.. or a BM.. I can't tell.. and you don't have to be choosing people to heal and keep alive a lot? :(

    well the only ones me has trouble with is telling veno/cleric apart.
    it takes me more then 0.1 second to recognize them now.

    Hehe, you'd be surprised how often my Level 10 Mornin' Dew comes in handy. Combine that with Essential Sutra, and your heals are nothin' but dust in the wind, sugah.
