Future New Race?

I heard something about a conflict between the Tideborn and the Nightspikes? Will Nightspikes become a new race in the future? b:puzzled I haven't been in game yet so I really have no idea who or what Nightspikes is/are... Are they even human? If they're not then um..nevermind me speculating ^^;

    Nightspikes appear to be Wraith like so I doubt they will become a new race.

    Their a mob so no.. thatd be like a new race becoming a Crystaline Magmite 0.o
